  1. Thanks for posting the flyer. I have not received the vendor contract yet but I plan on being there again. AzTom
  2. Coming along very nice. That tire and wheel is just AWESOME! AzTom
  3. That's cool. I wondered if anyone on here played with the diecast. That's my main hobby, I do the plastic as fill ins. AzTom
  4. Great job on the wheels, nicer than the ones that SW&C actually ran. They look like Ansen Sprints. Thanks for posting these. I have several of the Willys kits and never looked that close at the wheels. I'm going to need a set of those for an upcoming 69 Camaro. Tom
  5. I have used the Model Masters Lacquer many times and have never used a sealer under it, including Moulin Rogue. That paint covers extremely well. Tom

Very nice! Great color. What did you paint the floor with, looks like real rubber mat. AzTom
  7. has not set their status

  8. Thanks for that link. I found some resin I didn't know was being made. You do have a lot of bad links of web sites that "no longer exist" and one set off my Virus warning (SSB Resins). Thanks Again, Tom
  9. I have a Testors Aztec with a tank and it's pretty quiet, hard to even hear it when the exhaust fan is on. I'm really happy with it. AzTom
  10. That was my exact thought! Tom
  11. I don't go anywhere daily but here is my driver. 2006 F-350 Dually 4x4 Diesel.
  12. Hello, It's a 34 RR torpedo. Tom
  13. I have one of those helpers as well. I think he does more damage than good though. AzTom
  14. That is incredible Harry! I think any part, Engine, Chassis or interior could have been used in the "Real or Model" section. I have one of these kits somewhere, don't remember what model it is. AzTom
  15. That is just Awesome! Even has a factory installed spoiler. AzTom
  16. That is cool, I thought is was amazing that he only won "second award" with those. AzTom
  17. That is just Awesome The paint is incredible! I bought some of that clear and never tried it, gotta put that on the to-do list. AzTom
  18. 1/8 scale model
  19. I agree with Gasman. It originally came in black or white but they may have added more colors. With practice you can adjust the size of the pattern by changing the spraying distance from the object. Here's a 1/18 GMP Fairlane I did a few years ago. Tom
  20. Thanks Guys, I subscribed to the magazine so hopefully I won't miss it if does make it. Here's a few of my 1/25 models.http://public.fotki.com/aztom/toys--models/plastic-model-cars-kits/my-models/ I customize mostly 1/18 scale diecast but have many more 1/25 yet to build. AzTom

  22. Thanks for that link, it takes care of Phoenix. I had been on that site a few years ago and forgot about it. AzTom
  23. Hello all, I recognize a few names here. I came to subscribe to the magazine and found this forum, cool. I have been around for some time. With the help of a wonderful wife, I founded Tom-C-Toys in NE Ohio back in 1989 and have been at is strong ever since. We sold the store in 2006, it is still open, and moved to AZ to take life a little slower. Here I started Arizona Diecast & Models to sell off some 40 years of collecting and to keep enjoying the fun of this great hobby. Now for my first question. Does anyone know if any photos have been in the magazine from the 2009 Desert Scale Classic Az model contest? Model Cars took photos of my 1/18 Henry J and I would like to know if it made in the magazine. Thanks, Aztom Tom Allen
  24. Happy Birthday! Sounds like a great one. AzTom
