  1. Tyrone the wheels and tires are from a Milestone diecast car that I have blown apart ans I'm going to recast them after some clean up .I have also have to get my photo etching kit out that I bought from Micro Mart and start doing some work with it Chuck
  2. someone made mention of needing the Dzus fastener for the outside of the body of the car and DC MODELS makes them . His name is Dennis and he makes them in 3 sizes I beleive (small, medium and large). here is his e-mail and he will e-mail you a pdf catalog. This is a 4 peice Zdus fastener.......you will assemble a holder 2 rivots and the button , they are seperate peices Chuck dennis_crocker@hot mail.com
  3. Hello everyone I got my TDR 1969 Camaro yesterday and I fitted the body panels together and did a quick mock up to see what it might look like . Also I got my parts from Dirt Modeler and they are perfect . Chuck

  7. I know Jeff and thanks for the refund I understand about family issues and stuff . I know things happen but I am building a car someone and I'm in the middle getting pinched on when the car will be done. I don't need a perfect hood , Just the scoop would work if you have a junk one laying around would really help. I wish you and your family the best Chuck
  8. I had to get a refund from Jeff cause I ordered it September of last year and he had not sent it to me or poured as of last week, so I couldn't wait any longer so I ask for a refund so I could find one else where. I don't care who you are 5 months to wait is too long Chuck
  9. the hood is from a 1972 pro stock of Butch Leals and the car is called the California Flash which is his nickname Chuck or if someone has a original that I could borrow to pull a mold off of
  10. Can anyone lead to someone who casts the California Flash hood , I need 2 of them thanks Chuck
  11. could you post a pic of it , I'd like to see it because I have the kit missing the hood and I might be able to recreate it or i could cast it thanks Chuck
  12. here is the kit i got and the nickel plating but I have not used it yet http://www.micromark.com/plating-and-etching.html
  13. Ok guys here is everthing about this kit this is a direct repop of the orginal Snake and Mongoose kits from 1973 hence the copyright on the box. The tires are from the original series of funny cars and prostocks less the raised letters...I just checked some kits. here the original box arts. The decals for the carefree cars for both dragsters are done and available through Chuck Boener. I gave him my set to redo them I plan on recasting the rear tires so you will be able to build the car like the original. and finally the kit as issued depicts a car that never ran .......the Fly Navy dragster never ran a front wing thanks Chuck
  14. mike call me tommorrow I have 2 that I'm going to get rid off Chuck
  15. welcome back Chuck
  16. I just went through all of my 1/16th scale drag kits and it appears there are 18 different cars in the Revell Signature series I hope this helps as far as production run who knows ???????????
  17. Hi guys here is the rarest one of all from Revell . This was only in the UK and not released in the US Chuck Chuck Boener does a set decals to build it from a Tony Nancy kit which was the same kit I hope this helps Chuck
  18. Hi guys finally I got my computers and my ink jet and my Alps printer set up done with my scanner also . Now just got to try and make me some decals I have always wanted Chuck
  19. Hi Chris , I removed 3/16th of an inch in front of the windshield of the hood and moved the rear wheel well back 1/16th of an inch. I moved the rear wheel back is because the wheel well was to far forward. I had a freind over lay my changes to the body on the second pic and the only difference is the front wheel well opening wich I'm leaving because the snake car had a higher opening than Dunn's car ,and a little bit on the back of the rear wheel opening which I haven't decided on yet Chuck
  20. Bart , Yes the oringinal resin body was made to fit the revell chassis out of the box and It didn't look right , the Revell chassis is a 120in wheel base car while all of the cars were 116-118 wheel base. The NHRA rules stated the the funny cars could run a 10% increase in wheelbase through 1974 after that I'm not for sure I'll have to check the rule books . The cars that Revell did are all wrong onthe wheelbase (the 2 Vegas 116 wheelbase and Duster 118 wheel base but the Charger 118-120 wheelbase is correct) Chuck
  21. Hi guys here is Comp Resin Cuda F/C body that I'm reworking to get the car back to 118 in wheelbase. I have also reworked the front windsheild . Hopefully when I get it completed I'll get it resin casted for a more correct body then I'll start on some other bodies Chuck
  22. Here is my GTO to the mix
  23. Hi thanks alot guys I made the decals myself on my injet but I'm redrawing them so I can print them with my newly aquired Alps so the yellow on the car will be done in metallic gold Chuck
