Ok guys I finally got a chance to paint one of our new Camaro resin funny car bodies. I have been wanting to do the Warlord Camaro for sometime and I drew up the decals to fit the body. The body is designed to use the MPC Mustang chassis . I have to finish the tin work , aluminum foil around the windows and clear coat and color sand the body a couple of times to get the finish like I want it . I'm pretty happy with the body and decals , I try to make better and more challenging decals every time and as always your input is always welcome thanks Chuck

Thanks Tim , I had no idea that these chassis were being done until I found it on the site , but like me and everyone is saying they are coooooool. and now you don't have to scratch build and try to get it straight and square. You guys are doing great work so keep it up Tim. thanks Chuck Tim I just got done watching the video on finishing the white strong flexible and I want to say thank you , the video will help very very much thanks again Chuck Anyone who has read this thread here is link to TDR for the chassis I bought and other cool stuff . This will make it easier to find their products ,because like I said before I just stumbled onto the chassis and I'm glad I did http://www.tdrcatalog.com

I haven't tried the Dirt modeler stuff to it yet , these are on Shapeways pages and they offer them in other scales . I just found them 1 night and said what the heck I give them a look and they are cool Chuck

not bad a coat of filler primer and a light sand should take care of it and they were 25.75 each

Here is what I got from Shapeways today , a 1/25th scale printed pro mod chassis , its cool. 1 for the 68 Camaro and for the 69 Camaro .

Just got my 1970-73 Camaro's from my caster and got it mocked up . I will be making the tin plate for it in a week so it can be casted too. It is setup to use the Mustang or Challenger chassis . If Mustang is used the front axle will have to be widen a bit . Now I'll start working on decals to fit the 1/25th scale body Here is what the new body looks like after paint and decals . We patterned our body after this one and this will be the first decals to be done followed by the Warlord

The chassis is the longer chassis like the Mustang , it came in the Omni , Corvette , and the Firebird's . The car I'm doing was only raced 3 times that I know of and the pics above are the only ones I have ever seen of the car Chuck

Here is my new project mocked up . I don't like Revell chassis so I used a MPC Nitro Bird and cut it down to length . I also rearched the front axle and I'm going to have to use smaller diameter front tires to get the nose down . Here are somes pics and I'll start on the decals next week , I don't know if these decals will be for sale I think I want to keep them for myself only Chuck

Hi guys here are 2 new resin bodies that I should have next week . They are a Cuda and a Camaro , they are designed to use the Challenger from The Model King and or the new released Mustang from AMT/MPC. If you use the Mustang you will need to widen the front axle . The Camaro will come with a tall spoiler or a spoiler with the center cut out of it . These are just quick mock ups from my caster and all of my decals will be designed to fit these cars only. The tin work will be a couple of weeks out , I have to build it once I receive the body and the Cuda will accept all of the parts and tin work from the Challenger thanks Chuck

yes Casey the chassis in the stage Ghost is the same as the Bull Horn . I was thinking about recasting the coach part when the Bull Horn comes out so you could build a Stage Ghost thanks Chuck I don't know how much interest would be in a casting of the coach for the Stage Ghost

yes the wagon will accept the Stevens Pro Street Vega and makes a cool Pro Stock or pro street , so a stock part should work also but I have not tried it thanks Chuck
