  1. And to slow this thing down occasionally, here are the rear brake pieces.........
  2. Austin.............the engine will be 6 cylinder, air-cooled, from an obscure German manufacturer...............
  3. Coil-overs attached to frame and suspension arms.................
  4. Coil-over pieces....... These parts have no real prep, other than a light coat of primer, so they'll get a little attention prior to paint.........the springs are really more of a place-holder.........the shock-body pieces fit together with a keyway feature.....insert and turn 90 degrees, and then they are captive..........put a real spring in there and the part functions........I won't do that here, for the half-shafts I have are fixed........
  5. Set the transaxle into the frame and it seems to sit just fine............
  6. I tend to start these things and get to a certain point and then something else pulls me away, but I will try to take this a bit further.............. I'll get some other pieces primed and then start fitting things up.......... Tony
  7. Chris........working on a few valve cover variations, and then we'll get it listed in the TDR catalog at 1/16, 1/12 and 1/8 scales............ Tony
  8. Appreciate the comments.........doing this stuff is way too much fun.................and the possibilities are endless............... Tony
  9. Tom.......I hope to have a few pieces to go along with the basic motor.............I just have to finish them up and get them print-ready............. Tony
  10. This one has been a long time in coming........the 409 Chevrolet, 3D printed in 1/16 scale.......... If interested, more can be seen here: http://public.fotki.com/ajwheels/116-scale-chevrolet/ Tony
  11. Unfortunately, there are times when these forum posts prompt misunderstandings and a time is reached where further discussion only leads to further misunderstandings……….and now, a comment in a PM of mine is taken out of context and put here, which will only take this deeper down a hole………. Seems to me that the fact that someone was able to take a TDR scale cylinder head and determine that it’s valve angle is 18 degrees as opposed to 23 degrees tells you a lot about the attention to detail in that part………but there is no way that it is an exact reproduction of the real 1:1 part…………… Please feel free to PM me if you would like to talk further about these issues………those who have taken the time to do that have seen that I am more than willing to explain the process we use in creating these parts…………. Tony
  12. Here is my 1/8 scale '32 Woody, currently sleeping in a box in a closet.................. Tony
  13. And for this reason, TDR offers the symmetrical port head for the big-block Chevrolet............. Indeed, the devil is in the details.................... Tony
  14. Too cool...........that's the way to make that work................Nice................. Tony
  15. Tom............that last image is the part with some paint on it.........
  16. Here are some Strombergs and intake pieces for the Ardun............. I have not had printed the SCOT parts yet, but I suspect they will come through just fine..........I am in the process of preparing the files for listing in the TDR catalog, and we should have them up there in the near future..................... Thanks for taking a look............. Tony
  17. Marty..............the basic small block pieces are available now in the TDR catalog at Shapeways.....link in my sig.............along with the single Holley intake...........more intakes and other pieces to follow soon..........PM me if you want further info..................... Tony
  18. And then there is the early GMC blower set up.................. The neat thing here is that the Weiand logo on the electric water pump just about came through at this scale............
