I noticed on the gt community build that you said you were waiting on a p/e set for this one. Where are you getting it from. I have one that says it is for 2 different Ferraris. It comes from scale something another. One is the alpha m. and the testarossa. Is this what you speak of or do you have another. -

I boxed out the tubs. I have some more sanding to do and i am going to add some half round to diffrent spots to gi lve some more detail. Well she is yellow again. I am adding the parts to line out around the inner hood and trunk. The rear end parts dont fit up well so i am going to blend it in Im thinking the paint should look like this

31 Nash: way beyond "Rat Fiink" Coupe: new project 5/9/13
lanesteele240 replied to John Teresi's topic in WIP: Model Cars
The bags and compressor are classic. All of this is great. It has the wheels turing in my head of what i would like to do on a 32 range car. I dont even like that era of vehicels but i now want to give it a go All this being said, i must agree. You could sell how to videos. If i dont get the yost set for fathers day, i am going to by them myself. Could we see a Teresi collection please. -
I thought the same thing but the more i cut, the further i go down the rabbit hole. Those BBS rims kinda remind me of something off a old firebird or camaro. I dont want any connection to any gmc product on the build. Am i correct in thinking these rims came on those cars or did alot of car guys put them on all types of rides. I will be researching this ring brothers creations you speak of Thanks everybody for your thoughts and comments.

I had to cut a little off the chassis wheel well part of the gt500 to get it to fit. This sucked up all the room for the tires. so i proformed a mini tub on the rear. I cut as much as i could and still keep room for the kit suspension to fit. I am going to use the kits front tire on the rear and front. Because it is much more narrow. Tight squeeze but it will fit. Now i just have to ge two fronts off some body What do you think. It is low in the rear but it is just propped up. It body should go up another 1/4 in the rear. I think the wheels are border line to large but i am open to criticism.

Ok. I hacked off the areas above and the front fenders were still landing on the shock tower mounts. This was not expected. I cut the left wheel well off completly. I cut the right one off at a line that molded in the well I cut about a 1/4 off the bottoms and moved them in a 1/8 or so to totally clear the fender well Now i just have to get the 1/2 inch coat of paint off the glue bomb body shell that i bought off ebay for 30 bucks shipped. Im gone keep a running tab on how much i spend on this model to better track just how much goes into a build Glue bomb kit. $30 Gt500 kit $40 bucks. 40% offer at hobby lobby. That is 70 so far. I really dont see it going much over the century mark but who knows
