  1. I'd say you got it down!!!!!! LOL Those are great. What'd you use? Cotton? Stuffed animal filling?? Keep up the great work! Ben
  2. I WANT YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I know what my first car (daily driver.....72 Chevelle isn't too friendly on gas..lol) will be...that or a S-10 Xtreme.......whoops hijacking a post...... Nice wagon and I REALLY want to see more of the Caddy!! Ben
  3. Ok I got this kit from Jairus and we had some small issues with missing parts (chassis suspension...important stuff...lol) but we worked it out (he sent me all the missing parts AND a Taco trike too!!! Jairus is da MAN!!!) I got the missing parts today, and started on the kit. I decided to go with Dark Cherry Red (duplicolor) and some gloss white. I had no idea of how they would look together but I'm glad I took the risk. It looks kinda like a peppermint candy tho...so that's where the name comes from...LOL Ok here's the pics: Interior is a color from Krylon....Woven something...lol Chassis has the same color scheme as the body....the pan is white and the chassis is red. Motor is body color. The EFI will be painted white to go with the red engine. Well that's all for now! Will have more later!!! Ben
  4. It's a custom hood from my Magnum project...body got trashed so it's available if anybody wants to cast it! I would prefer professional casters only. So I know it's going to be done right. PM me if your interested. Ben
  5. Anyone make one? I need it for the AMT Old Pro kit. Thanks!! Ben Kenobi!
  6. Hey, It's a box stock build of Revell's BM King Cobra. I wired the motor and personally love the build, it was just so fun to do! Pics: Thanks for lookin!! Ben Kenobi!!
  7. So you're building the British version of the Magnum? They have a 300C wagon that is the exact same thing you're building right there!! Looks good so far!! Ben Kenobi!!
  8. The interior will be white with a black carpet, dash and package tray. I got the white paint on the roof...the body needs a little polishing because it has tape texture to it (paint was still curing I guess...) and the roof needs some touchup on the edges. Then to the BMF shop!!! Here's some pics! Thanks for lookin!! Ben Kenobi!!
  9. While I wait for my Porsche Carrera GT and my 1/8 Vette to get in I decided to start on this. It's the Revell kit, same one as the base car for the Dodge Daytona kit. This is a HIGHLY detailed kit...it's more of a Level 3 than the Level 2 they say it is. Ok Pics: I got it painted except for the roof which will be vinyl. IT's going to be a resto modish car...lol ok NOW pics: More in a couple of minutes!! Ben Kenobi!!
  10. Does anybody make a resin '65 Ford F-550/500? I'm trying to build this truck..... http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c326/che...boes/B%20Class/ Anybody know who makes one of they do? Thanks!! Ben Kenobi!!
  11. I'm looking at the body and not feelin the color....so it's going to be stripped off and painted a diffrent color...just one of those things that wasn't going to work out. So in the Oven Cleaner it goes!!! Ben Kenobi!!!
  12. I'm building a model of my 1:1 and it dosent have buckets...lol Anyone make a bench for em? Thanks!! Ben Kenobi!
  13. Well this is an older project that I couldn't decide on the color, so it got put away. Well I was out in Michaels two days ago and found that color.....Testors Competition Orange! Here's the pics from when I left off: Here's the new pics: Thanks for lookin!! Ben Kenobi!!
  14. Well this was a fun as hell build. I built it in 3 days (starting after I got home from NNL East with it) and started building! I painted it gloss black (testors) and went to town with it!! I added a pre-wired distributor built by Ken (K357 on other forums) and basically built it box stock. Ok....enuff rambling...lol PICS!!! Thanks for lookin!!! Ben Kenobi!!
  15. Thanks for the comments guys! I took some new pics now that there is some outside light: Thanks for lookin!! Ben Kenobi!
  16. If that is a SOHC then I'll have one for you in about a month or two...one of my next projects is gonna be a Cobra with a Chevy 427 and a three deuce setup. Let me know!! Ben Kenobi!!
  17. This was a fun as heck build. The kit went together like a charm and it's my best build yet! The decals were a little finicky and the stripes on the hood were hell, but they look decent with lots of solvent. The paint is Model Master Gard's Red over a grey primer base. Ok some pics: I'll put some more pics up tomorrow when there is some outside light. Thanks for lookin!! Ben Kenobi!!
  18. What if Chevy made a 1966 El Camino 4dr with a 427 SS package? I wanted to make one. So I ordered a resin "stinger" hood from Ed Fluck (Drag City Castings I think) and started chopping!!! I cut the rear of the roof off and cut about a 1-1/4 inch strip out of it and re-glued it to the body where the C pillar would be. Here's what I got..... That was about 3 weeks ago. I decided to pull it out of the WIP pile and do some more stuff to it!! Tell me what you guys think!! Ben Kenobi!!
  19. Oh BTW if you want anything in specific just ask!!! The odds are I can find it! Ben
  20. I decided to do this a while back and wanted to wait to get a few more shots than I had before I went public with it...well here it is!! It will be growing constantly! http://s113.photobucket.com/albums/n212/ModelRefrence/ Hope you guys find it useful!!! Ben Kenobi!
  21. Wow!! That is too cool! Good job on it!!! Ben Kenobi!
  22. Ok I built this for the WW3 post on Scale Auto, and it's made of many cars...but all from the parts box...and it's "interesting" to say the least. Ok...it's made out of: '59 Impala (front fenders) '71 Cuda (grille) '49 Mercury (bumper) '67or'72 Chevy C-10 (cab) '99 Dodge Ram (chassis, bed, and suspension) '53 Ford P/U (rear gunners nest) '70 Chevelle (hood) And lots of more Misc parts..I think the dash is from a '69 Camaro, the interior tub is from the 'Cuda, and the turrets are from M4 Sherman Tanks! This is my odd creation...hope ya like!! Ben Kenobi!!
  23. ok I figgered out the color combo, Testors Saphire Blue (as seen on my Tamiya Honda S-2000 (look in tuner section...lol) but instead of being on a grey primer it will be over a black base to give it a darker hue. It will also have some gloss black accents on it. Progress soon I hope!! Ben Kenobi!
