Claude.....thank you for the kind comment......Very cool looking model ........I have to make a lot changes to the Mike Garland resin body that I am using.....it’s a 1969 body and the 1:1 car used a 1970 body .....they are very different between a 1969 and a 1970.......I will be making as many changes as possible ......it won’t be an exact replica of the 1:1 body but, I’ll try and get it as close as possible ......it is quite a challenge to convert the body... thanks for looking

Hello......I am going to make this Mickey Thompson "MonoCoque" Mustang F/C ......I have always wanted to build this F/C......I bought a 1/16 Mustang F/C body from Mike Garland, I will have to modify the body to resemble the 1:1 F/C.......I also bought a 428 Boss engine from Shapeways 3D Printing......I will add some Sobak Designs to dress up the engine........I also bought some Greg Fox resin Slicks......and Reliable resin wheels.......and a special thank you to Mark and Mary for the outstanding reference pictures .....thank you so very much.......I will have to scratch build everything else.......thanks for looking

Hello......Chris,Tim.....thank you so very much for the kind comments ......I really do a appreciate them.......I added the Ogga Horn and mirror ...... and the spark plug wires ,throttle cable and front seat......and got all the electrical headlight ,tail light and dome light working......I used Evans Designs for all the electrical work......and used "Pro Tech" spark plug wires, rubber fuel line and nut and bolt ends.......I also used RB Motion spark plug boots.......this build id done.......I will post some "Outside" pics soon.....thank you all so much for all the kind comments and following along with this build.....

Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments ......I really do appreciate them......I Got the final clear coat on the body......I painted and attached the interior......got the engine and trans. attached ......the rear axle and tires are on .......the front end is attached and I added the 21 inch laced wheel made by Curt Raitz......Curt makes wire wheels in different sizes you can buy them from: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-16th-TruWires-110-Wire-Wheels-for-1-16th-scale-Front-Engine-Dragsters/323701887877?hash=item4b5e22d385:g:AEAAAOSwI01cWcY-:rk:1:pf:0......thank you for the wheel Curt..... Hello........Thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them.......I airbrushed the White Graphics on the Tank and Frame.......I used H.O.C. White......then I applied the Custom Coca Cola Decals that I had Gary with Circle Track Decals make me ......Gary use to be GWS Decals now he is Circle Track Decals......love your decals Gary......thank you!!!!!!.......then I airbrushed a Clear Coat......I will sand the body down one more time and apply one more Clear Coat.......thanks for looking

Hello......thanks guys so very much for the kind comments .......I really do appreciate them.......I got a vintage beer can with a Pop Top in the mail from a couple of really cool forum guys John and George......thank you so very much for the can guys.......I cut the top off the can and modified it to fit the trike......I also got all the body work finished on the body......got a H.O.K. Orion Silver Base Coat on the body and then H.O.K. Kandy Apple Red......I made the front end, handle bars and bulb horn and painted them Alclad.......I also modified the trans and belt drive and painted them Alclad and lightly weathered ........I modified the rear end and got that painted and weathered.......I modified the rear wheels and painted them Alclad......I used Paul Rowe Resin Slicks and got them painted and lightly weathered.......I modified the engine and added a few details and painted it Alclad and lightly weathered ........I will airbrush the white graphics on the body and add the Coca Cola Decals next......thanks for looking.
