Hello......I am starting this on my workbench today........this is will be a replica of my fathers Teresi "Dyno Drags".......I am building it for his birthday.........it is a simulated drag strip on the back of a semi truck with a dyno hooked up to the bikes.......here are a few pictures of the 'Dyno Drags"........I will be using a few kits and I will be making major modifications.......thanks for looking.........here is a link to the "Underglass" section for finished pictures........thanks http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=59805

Hello.......this is a replica of the "Cyclops" trike from the movie Mad Max.........I built the original trike with the girder front end and kandy apple red paint job........ it is a 1/12 scale model.......thank you to Gray Smith for selling me the Tamiya Honda CB750F for the donor......I also used a Revell chopper kit as a donor.........I converted the CB750F engine into a kick start 1970 CB750........I scratch built and modified allot of parts......to many to mention.......thanks to Charlie from "Pro Tech" for the braided line,ruber fuel line,detailing wire, t`fittings, nut and bolt ends,spark plug wire.......H.O.K. shimmering gold base with kandy apple red......all graphics airbrushed.........all chrome striped and painted alclad.......and last but not least a very special thank you to Greg Wann "Master Caster" for the resin bubble top.......this project would have not been possible without this part........if you would like to see how I built this model......please look in the "Work bench" section.......thank`s for looking.

Hello.......well the "Cyclops" is finished........I attached the headlight,foot pegs and the cyclops........I will clean it up tonight and give any touch ups..........thank you all so very much for following this build and for all the kind comments.......I will post finished pictures tomorrow.......thanks.

Hello.......thank you all so much for the kind comments........I scratch built a fuel tank out of a ball point pen and painted alclad.....fuel line hooked up......I assembled the handle bars and attached the front brake cable,clutch cable and throttle cable.......I made the ignition,starter button and a couple toggle switches ......I`m just about wrapped up with this build.......tonight I will make some foot pegs ,front head light and attach the "Cyclops".......thanks for looking.

Robert.......thank you for the kind words.......I have never used a clear coat over my alcad......I have heard that some have used some sort of clear coat but,I have no idea what it is.......I would avoid any kind of clear coat ,that is just my 2 cents........ when I handle my parts..... I try and use a tissue or cloth and try to plan ahead the assembly to avoid the least handling.......if you avoid applying the alclad heavy......latter on in the assembly if you rub some of the alclad off.......you can always tape around the area that rubbed off and re-airbrush alclad onto that spot......I have done that plenty of times......thanks.

Don.......the t`fittings are from "Pro Tech"......they are white metal and I painted the hex ends "Apple Barrel" acrylic gold paint from Michael's crafts store......any single fittings I make using solid hex styrene ......I drill out the middle ,cut and file to size......then I paint gold as well.....thanks

Hello......thanks guys for the kind comments, I really do appreciate them........I scratch built the Girder front end ,painted alclad and assembled........front wheel, anchor and caliper also attached.......exhaust pipes are on,blued with airbrushed Tamiya clear blue,red,orange and yellow and assembled ........I made a rear suspension for the side car,I had no reference pictures.....so I made it up......I know its not right but,it`s good enough for the girls I go with........I will make a headlight and attach the handle bars and fuel tank tomorrow........thank`s for looking.
