Hello.......Thank you all so very much for the kind comments.......I did a little work on the wheels and under carriage........I made a radiator and Battery.......I also detailed the interior......I got the body painted with chrome foil.....I detailed the 3D printed engine that Steve A. printed me.....Steve also printed me a Teresi License plate, battery and speedo decal.......this build will be finished just in time for the Grand National Roadster Show Model Car Contest.

Hi Mike…..I started with a HOK White Base Coat…..then I Airbrushed HOK Kopper …then I Airbrushed Tropical Glitz Fanta Orange …..then the sides were Airbrushed with Scale Finishes Root Beer Brown …then Clear Coated. thank you.

Hello......I got primer on the body......and Airbrushed a Custom Color using HOK Kopper with Tropical Glitz Fanta Orange over a White Base Coat......then I tapped off the sides and painted it Scale Finishes Root Beer Brown.......then I sanded off the lettering on the tires and hand brushed the white walls on the tires.......I will start on the interior next......thanks for looking

Hello.....thank you all for the kind comments......I did some work in the interior.......I made a Break Pedal and Gas Pedal......I sanded off the Embossed Guage and trim and made new ones........I added detail to the steering column ......I hollowed out the headlights and added Bessels ......I made a power booster......and a Battery........and I made a Radiator......thanks for looking.

Yes,…..I will be building a 1/25 Scale too……and the 1/25 will be Super Detailed. thanks

Hello......This will be a replica of Rick Dores : The "Illusion".......It will be a Birthday present for my Father......My Dad was watching The Sema car show on TV about 4 years ago and saw this car The "Illusion" built by Rick Dore.......My Dad bought the Car ......and I am going to build him a replica of it........I sent a bunch of pictures to my good friend Keven with "Frankies Hobby & Horror Shop" and asked him to draw up and 3D print the body for me......Keven did a Fantastic Job .....I have been doing Business with Keven for a few years now and his work is just Awesome.......then I asked my good friend Steve A. to 3D print a GM LS3 engine and Trans. for it, thank you Steve for your Awesome work and Decals......I will be using a AMT Bel Air kit as a donor .......I will be doing a lot of modifications and using part box parts.........the guy sitting in my Dads Car is Chris Sobak my good buddy who has helped me with a lot of my models thanks Chris......thanks for looking

Hello All…..I wanted to post this last Monday but,I caught Covid at at the GSL Salt Lake City Model Car Contest/Convention Finale ……today is the first day I felt better to do anything ….I would like to share with you all my accomplishments that I was awarded at the show…..it is the most critically judged show on the planet….the best Model Builders from around the World come to this event every 2 years…..I believe GSL has been around for 30 years….and this one was there last show the Finale….. Anyway I entered 11 models and took home 8 Awards…..there was 730 models that were Judged….I was very happy cause every model there was a winner …..the Judging must have been crazy……4 of the classes I entered had a couple of my models in the class and they all placed…..I have been going to GSL since 2011 which means I have attended 6 GSL shows…..and I’m Very Very proud to say that I have Won 72 awards in that 6 year run…..I will miss the show and the Staff and all the Great Modelers and Models…..I’m also thankful to have been chosen and to participate in the “Lynx” project that was displayed at the show…..if you want to see some great pics from the show Just Google or YouTube GSL 2023 Model Car Contest Finale . Hello…. I just finished this 1/25 Scale “Throttle Demon”….I started with a 1/25 Scale Jimmy Flintstone 1950 Buick Resin Body…..I cut the top off and re-worked the front end….I used a Revell 49 Mercury under carriage and used various parts from my parts box to make and modify the interior….I used a 3D printed 572 engine designed by Black Box and printed and sold by “Iceman Collections”……this is some mighty fine 3D printed product…..I used a custom mix of HOK green Kandy and pearls…..I used “Lazy Modeler” Flame Mask for the first time and they were a breeze to work with….I airbrushed the flames with a Custom Purple paint from “Scale Finishes”…..excellent paint to work with….my good friend Steve Allemand made me the the cool custom decals…. Thanks Steve….. and I also would like to thank my Great friend Charles from “Chucks Hobby Spot” on YouTube…..thank you Charles for some answered questions…..you all need to check out “Chucks Hobby Spot” on YouTube ?…..thanks for looking…..I still have a least a 1/2 dozen builds to share….thanks for looking.

Tim…..so very sorry to hear about your medical issues …..I feel your pain…..I may have the same thing ….. I haven’t been to the Dr. yet but, I have the same issues ?…..I hope and pray for you that you get the best outcome.? but, I got to say, for a test tape and paint job Wow !!!! …..and the colors are Awesome they really pop……I have no dought that your paint job on the Maverick will be great ? Tim I wish you the best on a speedy recovery……hope to hear from you soon.

Hello Guys….I am truly thankful for thinking of me……I’m still building just haven’t been posting as much……I was busy for awhile doing work with a bunch of other guys for the Lynx Project …..it’s a project for the last GSL show 2023……I visit this forum once in awhile and am amazed with the work by my friend Codi……he is such an amazing builder and such a great guy……I also would like to mention Francis he is so amazing too…… they both are my favorite builders .thanks again!!!! best,John
