  1. You are right Bill, we are surely lucky to have Harold as one of our club members as well as Norm, they really are the best resin casters anywhere. This build is fantastic, I will have to make plans to buy one myself.......
  2. As long as you can keep on raking that's what matters!!!!
  3. No Your work will be done after the tutorial at one of our meetings
  4. Does he have a computer? This is actually the best place for any questions and concerns about anything related to the hobby.
  5. From now on all your computer concerns and questions will go through Johnathan!!!! This kid is good!!!!!
  6. Hey Ismael, I see you were blessed with the sink marks on your Camaro rims too eh!!!! Bondo anyone?????
  7. Cool!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I was talking about the AMT!!!
  9. I like the Tamiya tape method the best but what I also do is after lining up my trimming with the tape I will brush some future over the whole surface, wait at least ten minutes and then just brush the trim with my choice of paint. This prevents any bleedthrough of the paint. I have always used this method and what I like about it is that the Future wax dries very quick, it is self leveling and works with any paint. I like to use Poly engine black paint, I like it because you don't see any brush marks after laying it down!!!
  10. WOW!!!!! Pretty cool stuff man!!!!!
  11. I love it Mike, anybody can do a nice glossy finish, not everyone can do weathering the right way!!!!

The first time I heard about embossing powders was on a tread by James Tremblett on July 25 of this year. I can't see the pictures anymore when I went back but I thought it was a great idea.... This is how my 57' Chevy interior came out, I just thinned Elmers white glue just a tad and then just did everything just like you would if you were doing flocking!!!!

You have another winner there Randy, as always it's beautiful. Now you're gonna have to explain the embossing powder trick
  16. By the way, the picture on the kit box is of the 1/1 bike, Mercedes Benz made a number of these bikes several years ago and I remember them being sold I believe at about 5000.00 dollars a pop, I don't know how much Porsche sold theirs but I am sure they were not very cheap!!!!
  17. Sorry guys, it's a 1/8 scale...... This is a picture of the box, again is by Fujimi and it's pretty rare. They also have a Porsche bike! http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/mmm...aproject043.jpg This is a link to the building process so that you can see how detailed this beautiful kit is, I wish I could find another one. Funny thing is that I saw this kit about 3 years ago in a local Hobby Shop for 50.00 dollars and kept going back and never really got interested in buying it until a good friend of mine built a 1/6 scale bicycle that was given to him. He did such a fine job on it that I just had to build one and was lucky enough to get it on sale for half the price because no one was ever interested. If you are lucky enough to find one probably in e-bay or something, grab it or please let me know, they are really well executed kits.
  18. XM Satellite radio for me, they play anything and everything. I like the comedy channels a lot!!!!! In the summertime, lots of Baseball games
  19. I am not crazy about white Vettes but there's no denying the beautiful job you did on this one Nice and clean!!!!!
  20. Very cool man
  21. Yes, that was the only thing I didn't like about the spokes, just a tad out of scale but everything else was perfect. It was not that difficult, Fujimi did this so everything fit pretty good.....
  22. SOME PEOPLE WERE LUCKY AND DID NOT GET THE SINK MARKS, I WAS ONE OF THE UNLUCKY ONES
  23. Hey my friend, I saw this thing believe it or not in Hobytown USA almost 3 years ago for 50 Bucs and I never really took a good look at it until Luis Ayala built one similar about a month ago. Could not believe that this was still there with a 50% off sale and just had to have it. It is a Fujimi and very hard to get kit. Porsche also made one of these bicycles. They truly look very realistic......
  24. This is something a little different that I wanted to do!!!!!
