  1. http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model_clu...5/dscn6130.html Hey Boricua, seeing that you like Vettes as much as I do or more I hope you like this 67, I love them myself. Painted this one Rally red from a paint jobber around my way and used Odds and Ends clear, polished and waxed, hope you like it
  2. http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model_clu...6/dscn4651.html Just love these Anglias. I painted this one Tangelo which is one of the colors from the wal-mart House of kolor paints. For some reason I thought the orange would be brighter, they tell me I got the wrong paint in the can!
  3. Hey Bill, since I did that Anglia I am kind of in love with these Model King releases and the altered wheel base cars, I really wish they would release this Falcon the way they released the Trumpeter Nova, I love them
  4. Of course pictures never do much justice, I am sure it looks hot. Never thought of doing something like that but I think it's a good idea. 8) 8)
  5. SWEEEEEEEEEET! Love the Willys and of course the contrast of the flames and the black base is awesome, nice job. Are you using some sort of template held just above the surface? I would love to try that!
  6. Hey man, nice to hear from you, hope to see you in the sept showdown. As soon as my dumb ass learns to post pictures through this medium I will try to have them as soon as possible OK! Lyle is suppose to be sending me instructions on how to do it but any bit of help from you or any other guys will help.
  7. http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model_clu...6/dscn0006.html Paint is Tamiya Mica Blue, velocity stacks were alcladed and drilled together with the headers.
  8. Very nice model, and the car doesn't look bad either
  9. Thanks for the pics Lyle, at least it gives the guys an opportunity to see my work until I learn how to post pictures. Remember to e-mail me about that OK
  10. Well guys, as for me when I was living in Puerto Rico from 91 to 96 I decided to get back in the hobby and started to collect my modelling magazines to use as reference and to get back into this hobby that I love so much. By 96 I decided to move to Maryland and never thought that by joining the MAMA club I would meet so much talent not including the Central PA club that I am also a member of. I had read all about these guys before I met them but to make my story short here is just a list of the great people and friends that I have met: Bill Geary, Larry Booth, Lyle Willits, the great Norm Veber, Dan Peterson, Terry Adams, Ron Hamilton, another idol of mine Harold Bradford, what a talent, Jeff Sauber, wow, and many others and what's great about this is that they are all in my club for me to enjoy and make fun of I am sorry that Larry Booth moved to Texas but I still see him at the shows often. I still would like to meet other people like Juha Airo and the mini "Foose" Jairius but I can say that I am very happy with the people that I have met over the last couple of years. I have more names but they know who they are.....
  11. Nice job man, I just finished my version of the Iowa Shaker and I love it. If you want to see pictures of it just go to mamaboyz.org and click on members albums on your left. Once there, click on the pictures by Lyle Willits on the monthly meetings and you will see it. Should be in our last sept. meeting......
  12. Love those T-Bolts, can't beat the dog dish look with the wide back tires! One day I will build one, one day
  13. Hey Samantha, nice job and I love your picture with the background full of models. Hope to see more of your work
  14. Yes, I think the color is nice too and once you tuck that back tire into the wheel well it will take form. I used those tires with the painted letters on one of my models and they really bring out the beauty in any model  Nice work man..... 8)
  15. Just saw it at our PA meeting, very nice and clean. Love what he did with the engine compartment and the interior, this guy is full of ideas
  16. Thanks for the welcome comitee guys, I am sure to have a good time with you and as soon as I can I will post some pics.......
  17. Very Very nice and clean, I have to put one of these together man, love the color you chose also. 8)
  18. Very nice man, I know what you mean when you say that it looks better in person, those colors don't go well with the cameras but it seems to me you did a great job specially when photographed in an angle
  19. Very nice job, just bought one myself and wanted to see one built. The only thing I did not like in the kit is the noticeable mold lines on the pipes, I will be smoothing that and if Alclad can help me here it would be nice.
  20. Hey brother, like always nice work, I saw this at the picnic and it was awesome. Hope to see it finished soon
  21. Hey guys, the name is Cruz and I am happy I managed to get into the forum, I was having a couple of issues but everything looks good now. To my friends Lyle Willits who is also the president of our club to Irv "The Raker" Arter, salutations, I think it's a great forum. Hope to post some pictures of my work in the near future and hope that it is as good as what you guys usually show, there is a lot of talent out there and I hope to learn even more. Of course, with the master Bill Geary out there it is definetly a plus
