This is my first Project to go “Under Glassâ€. It’s a Revell kit; I added the plug wires, fuel lines and throttle linkage, and the tail gate chains. The bumper and hood trim is ALclad. I entered it in this weekend’s “TigerFest†here in New Orleans. The truck took First Place in Street Machine – Post 1949 Modified. It also took Best Automotive. Ed

Love the copper color, I went with more traditional look o two tone.

Rule of thumb is use light colored primer under light color paint, dark for dark, for pearls, I use either siver paint or aluminum metailizer. HTH Ed

Yes, that's the one, I tried it but didn't come out so good, not consitant pattern, went back in purple pond and will try it again

If I remember correctly, wasn't there a post last week or so about lace painting? Even had a tutorial? I did numerous searches and couldn't find anything on it. Can someone aim me in the right direction. Thanks Ed
