  2. today i made a radiator ran the intake turbo hose tomorrow i will add color to the center radiator and make to hoses for it need to come with some kind of fan
  3. i wish i could take credit for the engine, but i cant, the engine is a diecast replica. some day i will be able to build
  4. so i have the rails for the rear section painted the rack in the back of the engine is built i put an aircleaner in ran the exhaust
  5. had some time today to start thinking about mounting the engine i finally figured it all out. i know its not a v-8 but its a straight six will have to do i prefitted the motor mounts. tomorrow i will really get into it cut the rails a little off and paint the them. make a radiator , fan and some pullies
  6. she painted i need to add some kind of bracket to the roof to hold down the grate once that done i can paint the roof
  7. 1st time making a grate . i use .060 rod what apain to make
  8. i started on the making the window area the window is removable with screws and the mounting too is removable next is the grate covering the window

  12. this build is far more better then the rest, as detail goes. owe it to all the guys on this forum for there ideas and builds. im a huge fan here
  13. ive done 206 builds, includes working wreckers, boom trucks, roll off flatbeds trucks, etc. but in 1/14 scale and not as detailed. sense i joined a couple of modellers forums i noticed i can learn alot and pick up the detailing. so really this is my 1st detailed truck. i did build a working mobile 8x8 rocket launcher. that was really kool. looking back it,i could have made it alot better here link to some of my builds http://scalebigrigs.madmooseforum.com/
  14. mounted the cab,front box,lower boxes,added red rims,enigine cover ,painted and installed the rear fenders she grew alittle too lol shes at 36 inches bumper to bumper
  15. i went through the whole chassis and cant see any issues i made rear fenders im going with a different motor and tranny for torque, this truck will be heavier then the 4x4, needing more power the engine compartment will be empty . i have the perfect solution for that area i just got word my water tank is ready tomorrow i should have fenders in paint and be back on track oh ya rear steer is hooked up and ready
  16. new frame cut i went with a shorter leaf spring and with 6 leafs each this time i laid 30 pounds on it and didnt give also added 3rd axle with rear steer i need to remake rear fenders , outer tanker longer and make a 3rd box that goes behind the front box so this went from a t1500 to t3000. im hoping no body is dissappointed as i had no option for the upgrade i have an awesome surprize what im adding to the truck too
  17. oooooooooouch! the suspension did collasped but i do have a repair in mind. right now she totally apart. sense i have it apart im going to do some changes. your will like the changes

  19. all side lamps are on and working. had to order more pin striping help! im in need of top picture of this model. i can find any thats clear. i cant do anything untill i fine some. please help guys still waiting on answer from oshkosh
  20. the hose reel is added and the cannon is all painted up.
