  1. I see!!! I think. Thanks for clearing that up
  2. Under Glass This forum is for posting finished (pau) models in all their glory, just like a display case! What does pau mean? Its been bugging me from day one Robert
  3. Flash, ejector pin marks!! The enemy!!!!
  4. Of all your builds so far..... this is my favorite, just beautiful!!!! Robert
  5. Looking even better!! May I suggest a small detail? Some plug wire looms would really look good. Robert
  6. Centered pinion rear ends will ALWAYS have a left side axle that is 4" shorter than the right side axle. As in 8" Ford axles. Robert
  7. "the front stance is a bit high, but the Mustangs from that era typically sat lower in the rear than the front. flipping the spindles does help make things a bit better stance wise." You know I've read this in several different places, so I took a look at the spindles, and I just don't see how it would make any difference by flipping the spindles, I measured the center of the spindle and its the same no matter which way its flipped. So what am I missing? I agree the stance is a bit to high. Robert
  8. Thanks Steve, I read some review somewhere years ago about the back window being the wrong shape or something, but I can't find any flaws myself, also read it couldn't be built as a real GT because of the deluxe interior, which I also have found to be wrong, Gt's did come with the deluxe if so ordered. So I'm now in the first stage of building a 390 GTA 67 Mustang!!! Just got to find the air cleaner, Robert Edit; If you take a magnifing glass and look at the grille emblem on the GT350 kit [the one with the red "real" GT on it] you can barely make out GT500, also the side stripe numbers have been touched up to read 350
  9. "You said you were getting ready to start on this kit, then wanted to know where to get one," "Getting ready to start on this kit, was looking for a good review of it," By get one I meant a review of said kit. I have the kit. Also have the GT350 kit. Thanks
  10. Getting ready to start on this kit, was looking for a good review of it, anyone know where to get one? I think I remember hearing something about the rear window design? Good or bad, like to here what ya'll think as well. Thanks
  11. Sorry to say, but this was about the simplest kit I've ever built !! Didn't have any of the fit problems spoken of,
  12. Very nice paint!! Great job.
  13. I spent nearly a week looking for stuff on this car, not much but the pic you have, it seems to be overshadowed by the other Ramcharger cars. I keep an eye out... Robert
  14. Hey I'm with ya on that.....
  15. Great build going on here!! I'm at the stage in one of my builds that I need to make headers for, can you give a run down on the process you used. Thanks Robert
  16. I'm going to have to agree. I can not find anything that it was ever black. So.... where did Fred Cady get the idea to make decals for a black car and WHY did Bill Coulter build one for MCM in 02? Appericate the input on this, so I will build a burgundy "Mr. 427" version and a Calif. Flash version in burgundy... Thanks
  17. Wayne, I saw that picture but becaue it was b&w I just wasn't sure because it could be the burgundy car as well, I've seen a color picture of the Ca. Flash that is the burgundy car. Kinda confusing in some ways....Thanks
  18. Nick, according to Bill Coulter in Model Cars magazine December 2002 there was. He built a black version, but doesn't show any 1:1 reference's. I do know that there were two versions of the Butch Leal car, just can't find any color pics of the black one.... Robert
  19. I'm looking for a picture of the Calif. Flash T-bolt when it was painted BLACK... now I've been to every T-bolt site, butchleal.com, Craig Suttons site and half the www and just cannot find a pic of it in BLACK. Was it ever BLACK? PLEASE help!! Thanks Robert
  20. That is just awesome... makes me wanna dig out an old build and strip it and do me one CCSS
  21. Been trying to find out when the first top was chopped, anyone know? Was it pre WWII or post WWII? what car was it? Robert
  22. Cool, I like carving {wood} ducks when I'm not carving plastic.... Robert
  23. Well now that my heads all swelled up I guess I should go build the next one. Thanks for the compliments. Yes the TRaK forum is a good one!! Robert
  24. Colors look good together.. May I add an opinion, the area under the trunk lid would look better in the fender color.. CCSS
