MISSING LINK's wheels really ROCK!!! They are molded virtually flash free in white resin & come with the photo etch trim ring fret free. Kevin works extremely hard to give us some of the best resin stuff.
-
Yeah George, same truck, actually the new 600 that Chuck is showing includes the parts for the tractor along with the parts for the flatbed.

A while back Dave Burkett (the model king) said that he was working on a new model project with Ernie Petit with his new company Illinois Model Company (IMC) anyone know or seen anything on this? Is it a reissue (old Imc tooling, testors, Jo-Han) or a new tool. thanx.

WOO big secret!! Like what everyone says, the technique has been around for years.

YAY!!! About time!! Seriously though folks, Kevin's stuff is the premire in the business. He uses industrial grade resin molded in white & could swear that it is styrene. Go check it out & BUY BUY BUY!!!!! -
Missing link has the flat hood & power bulge hood along with the '71 SUPER BEE conversion. They are cast in industrial grade white resin. Check out the link missinglinkrc.com if the link is down, try info@missinglinkrc.com + Kevin's a swell guy to deal with. Todd

A couple of weeks ago on EBAY a guy was selling mid-'60's FORD BRONCO's resin models, I think his name was lots-4-sale or something like that. Has anyone have his stuff? Quality? How do you get a hold of him, email address, etc etc. Thanx Todd

OK Thanx everyone, just wanted to get some response before I put a big order in.
-
Just wondering if anybody has or purchased anything from Bandit Resin. What's their quality & turn around time like? Thanx

WOW!!! Finally finished!!! Looks killer since the last time I saw it all in pieces. I NEED 1, when ya get caught up from the whirl wind world tour. Later!!! -
YEP!!! Got them at the Detroit Autorama from Round 2. They were selling them there before the rest of the country. Very fun cool nostalgia kits. They come molded in white now, but are going to be done in Metal-psychadelic-flake. If you never had them, they are fun to build!!!

YEP what Weasel said, white primer. The paint is running away from the raised edges cuz of the grey primer. Use the Dupli-color or Plasti-kote white primer. Hope this helps Todd
-
YEP kinda nice having it back & restored. Picked mine up @ Detroit Autorama back in Feb & had Chuck sign it along with his book that I picked up there also. John Greczula was there, we talked quite a bit when we weren't being distracted by certain female persusion. The M&H's are worth the price of admission alone!!! Worth picking up!!!! Todd

When is the NNL east in New Jersey for 2010? Thanks todd
-
Personally I think they should of included all the extra parts in all the kits. They're going after the youth market, what better way to whet a kid's appetite for building more than to make it with more options. Just my 2 cents.

Was wondering if any of you kats have or have used the HARBOR FREIGHT dual action airbrushes? They have a 6 gun with stand & pressure gauge for $130.00. Is it worth it? Thanks Todd
-
THANX for all the pos. comments. Kit is available & you can do the MONTEGO with the exposed headlights. Check them out they are top notch quality along with MOTORCITY RESIN!!!
-
Here is the new RESIN Mercury Montego from MISSING LINK resin. Uses the Revell '70 Cobra kit. Very cool car. Open for comments.

Go to SALLY'S beauty supply or other beauty supply places in your area. Emery boards and nail scuffing pads work great, have 4 sides and are foam centers.

I agree, light colors, white, yellow, orange and some beiges, white primer. I sometimes tint the primer with the paint that I'm going to paint the car in, save excessive coats (works great on PLUM CRAZY) which takes forever to build up the right color.
