  1. Chassis looks good man ! Are you keeping it as a t top or filling them in?
  2. Wax likes panel lines , but the build looks pretty good from here too. Best way to remove the wax is an old (or new) toothbrush. Older is a little better cause the bristles aren't quite as hard
  3. Good work Andy. Believe me you DO NOT WANT an AMT old pro at this stage of your building career
  4. Looking really good so far Rob
  5. it kinda looks like the front bar is on the wrong side of the chassis rail and it should be leaning over more at the top outside edge, best shots I have I think
  6. looking really good Rob
  7. The bigger the bench the more you end up covering it up with. At least you have some cool projects on it
  8. nice looking Mopar Shawn
  9. No Andy , we all have builds like that, I realize money or age maybe an issue to get some of the things you want (modelling wise) but just shelve it for a couple of weeks and move onto the next and keep looking at it trying to sort out the problem. I have projects that are years old shelved (but in constant eye sight) that get dragged out every so often so I can re assess the problem. I could probably find a dozen flaws in each of my completed builds or at least things I thought I could have done better on, but as some one has already quoted " Each model is merely practice for the next"). Don't sweat stuff, Don't compare stuff, Have FUN. If you compare your builds (or anything else in life) to what you perceive others to have , you are setting yourself up to a life of misery and a hobby you will never really enjoy. We will never really know the issues others have with their builds as we don't have their skill set, what they may find tricky might just be easier for us to do. Who Knows. Have the desire and drive to do better but most of all have fun.
  10. Geeze Bill, I just went and checked for you, now the green lights clicked go for another project. Yes it fits almost like it was made for it, once the front inner guards are cut out and the middle of the cowl section it will slide straight in with a nigh perfect wheelbase
  11. well tomorrow took a long time coming but I have some progress ride height had to grind away some of the tin work a little to get it to sit down but that wont take to much to tidy up, bit of a wet sand and polish, glue the wheels together fit the screen and chute and she'll be done and on to the next victim
  12. thanks guys got the decals done and cleared
  13. Roy, earlier on he said that he used Tamiya mica red then dupicolor metalspecks (clear) red, both of which spray pretty nicely from the can
  14. Apart from the fact I use publisher, this is pretty much how I do it as well
