Finished this kit last night. Body is painted with Dupli-Color paints, added a wired distributor and threw on the old school supercharger that comes in the kit. Swapped the kit wheels for Pegasus Hellas/Hollis 19" on front and 23" on back. This is my second two-tone paint job and I think it turned out pretty good. Didn't really document this build like I should have, just wanted to build it. Comments and questions welcome.

Revell Ford Ranger Pickup

Thanks! Thanks! Only thing about this kit that bothers me is there's a gap between the firewall and interior tub that lets the floor be visible from under the hood. Thanks! -
Thanks! I agree, tires and wheels make it or break it in my opinion. I had seen something a couple weeks ago, I should have saved link, but it was a Mach version I believe. It could have easily been faked though lol.

It was fun to break the slump I was in. Thanks. Thanks Ace Thanks. Thanks.

Got the body painted and cleared, painted the frame and interior semi gloss black. Still have to wet sand the body and maybe add another coat of clear. I was wanting to change a few things to make it look better but I would rather use the parts and stuff I have on something else. I was wanting to give it a slight lift and wire the engine but the huge hole between the firewall and interior pan would probably look a little goofy. It's a decent kit, re-pop of an older monogram kit. So it will be box stock since I need to practice painting, hoping to get better and better... -

Thanks, update coming soon -
Thanks again! I need to practice my body work Lol

Thanks. Thanks. I've been meaning to get some Tamiya clear red and clear yellow, just keep forgetting. I mainly just used it to practice painting but can see where the clear red can make a difference. Its not too late for me to add that.

Thanks. Yeah, its a bummer the back panel is separate from the cab. I'm not that good at body work but I guess I need the practice. -
Just started this kit, I'll do my best to keep this thread updated with progress pictures. I plan to make a few changes as I build, I won't spoil it just now except that it will be painted toreador red. So far I have the back panel of the cab glued on and applied first round of putty followed by sanding.

Thanks! Thanks! I'll post a better angle of the crack.

Thanks! Thanks! I thought slightly lowering it would help it. Very easy to do since it was a curbside kit. Thanks!

AMT Ford Phantom van

Thanks. I put some bass wood panels on the walls and for the ceiling of the van. I was wanting to detail the inside but decided not to after the problems it gave me. -

Thank you all! I honestly didn't think this van would get that much attention so soon. Your comments are greatly appreciated! -
Thanks. I'll probably just leave as is. I should have enough paint to try to repair the crack. But with my luck I may do more harm than good, lol. Thanks!
