Nice work and thanks for the info. I live and breathe PIR and I didn't know it claimed the silver car. The 600 car created the whole "no paint just bare metal" phase. To bad Nascar didn't get the credit. Granted someone will say no we did it. Just remember Terry made it look GOOD -

This is a really cool cool topic! I wish you the best in your build! -
Oh hey Nick I know about Hot Wheels. I can't tell you about the big cars but I know that the Matchbox blue and white Chevy pickup (the 90's style) is from a Taco Bell 4 car set. I'm not good for what they are worth but if you need info on things PM me and I'll see if I can help.

I noticed that too I would pay money for a copy of the footage though. changing tires in motion and watching the bar make a whisky for the news was great! -

Casey that car also blew me away I had to look at it 4 times to just say I give up and read the plaque Then to see that bad boy engine in it was really awesome! Am I wrong this was a Pantera market car? -
This is amazing! This car went from Texas to Alaska non stop. The car has a bathroom, washer, shower, bar, ironing board, sink. The car is plumbed and altered so much it is crazy. While driving they ( a crew in the car) changed the oil and changed flat tires IN MOTION! The trailer is a tank that hauls fuel oil and some other required fluids. The last picture in the series is really bad but it a photo of the film coverage during a running tire change while driving on a street. I know I do not have the talent to do it but what a model idea?!? Enjoy!

I'm watching! I'm glad you reminded me of something. My buddy has a special ordered one of these and man it's scary fast. I keep forgetting to tell him that there is a model kit of these. Keep up the progress. Also let me know of any fit issues. Thanks

I really wish I could have got better pics of it and more. I was worried about camera space to learn I had more than enough when I got home. That yellow car was really interesting too. the steering and gears were attached to the single front wheel under the hood. -

The Tucker makes me feel bad. I have always LOVED that car and for some reason forgot it was rear engine until I just saw my own pic I loved the story and that car is beautiful. It was my first time seeing one up close. I saw one years ago but not like this. I wish I could have sat in this one -

I'm not sure about the collection. I think it is a number of different parties and some one off owners. The old blue Ford has a huge history too. They made a "log" road through the now famous sand dune area in Cali that people play on with modern machines. It was a really cool history lesson for me. -

Harry, this car blew me away! So beautiful and it was restored from a tub. I thought it was a Duez at first. I think it was found in West Virginia and saved. It's so nice now that you could eat off it. My grandfather loved these and I had no clue that this was THAT big. I'm not much for 30's cars personally but I think this sparked a second -

Now that I went through some of those I really wish I saw some of those concepts. I grew up with a dream of my own with concepts. Thanks for sharing those and the engines! -

In this set I really like the silver Datsun -
My favorite in this group is the black and red car from England but I do not recall what it was. Any questions you have are welcome.
