  1. Went by a local Walmart today on my way home to pick up some stuff for my wife. Cruised down the Hot Wheels aisle(don’t judge me 😂) and on an end cap hidden in the back corner of the toy section was a clearance rack with these n it for $15 each. So yeah they came home with me 😂🤣
  2. Not sure on the modifications needed as I built mine mostly box stock after a lengthy paint debacle (don’t ask lol) The hood I made using the scoop from the Revell 68 Charger kit.
  3. Can’t go wrong with a blue Demon. The engine is a bit undersized and a good replacement can be found in the AMT 71 Duster.
  4. wes’s model car corner has them on preorder. https://wesmodelcarcorner.myshopify.com
  5. Carl my friend, I’ll definitely keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Will see you when you pop on. Take care of you first before anything else.
  6. Rustoleum color shift paint over black primer. I’ve always used black primer as a base for color shift paints.

Absolutely STUNNING!!! That interior/exterior color combo just WORKS!!!
  10. Did you paint the holes in the wheels? I drilled them out on one I built years ago and it looked great. Yours is looking great so far, can’t wait to see it finished!!
  11. Candy Corn…….I said what I said 😂
  12. Maybe a darker gray primer then a Molotow pen or the like to do the spokes? 🤷‍♂️
  13. Absolutely AMAZING work! Seeing this finished build is making me rethink taking a chance on the resin kit. Although I know I won’t have the skills to make it look as nice as yours.
  14. First pic is decal sheet from pink car original issue, second pic is from recent reissue . Personally I like the reissue decal sheet as it gives more options.
  15. Working out of town in Baton Rouge and I found a hobby shop that’s totally AMAZING!! The name of it is Hobby Towne and it’s located at 8484 Airline Hwy in Baton Rouge. I picked up a couple of cans of spray paint and a couple of kits I’ve been on the look for that I could afford. If you’re ever in the area check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
  16. This looks awesome so far, you have my attention sir!
  17. I don’t have any 1:1 projects but I’m pretty sure if I stopped buying models, hotwheels, and RC parts I’d probably be able to afford one 😂🤣
  18. The Mickey Thompson tires were also in the MPC Surf Shark kit.
  19. Not sure but as I was leaving my hotel there were several others parked at the hotel next door. A ratty looking 64-66 Chevy truck with no hood and drag slicks strapped to the roof and a sweet looking 70-73 Camaro that I wish I’d gotten pics of. Maybe someday I’ll be able to afford to build a car and do some of those types of events. Power Tour, Drag Week, and SICK week are on my bucket list.
  20. Was out of town working in Alabaster Alabama and saw these in the hotel parking lot this morning.

  23. I was just thinking about that. Great idea and should be fairly easy to do.
