  1. Hey zebm1, you need to get that 25 gallon compressor that you told me you had fired up to paint that sweet Ford Falcon you got. whats she got under the hood? Ive seen one in my area restored and it looks bad azz. its fire engine red with nice wheels and sounds mean. Ron.
  2. Thank you all for taking the time to help me find a compressor. I have both Home Depot, and Harbor Freight stores in my area. I was on the Harbor Freight web site and they had quite a selection of them. Like you Marc @ MPC Motorsport, My shop is a no longer used bedroom, ( both of my kids are grown and gone.) and the compressor will be used indoors. I feel like I am ready now to graduate to the next level of my hobby ability, and an airbrush compressor is now a nessesity, tired of spending money on cans of air that run out in the middle of a paint job and the stores all closed a half hour ago. (thats my luck). Anyway the Campbell-Hausfeld unit sounds good I saw it on the Harbor Freight web site. and another plus is I believe it is made in U.S.A.? Marc @ MPC Motorsports can you tell me what the name brand is on yours? that one looks prefect size. again thanks guys,
  3. Antonio, I was wondering if those decals came with your kit? my kit had no decals. so Im going to use the decals from the Revell '68 Firebird 400 (what a great kit that is) if you are familar with that kit the decals I want to use are the ones that say MIDWEST AUTO PARTS Detroit, Mich. this will be on each side. maybe I should just get off my lazy bottom and get some pics posted, It might be better than wrighting a novel to explain it.
  4. Looks like you laid down a nice shiniy smooth paint job. on that fastback Nova, can't wait to see it finished. the color is great! a very unique build. hopefully I can post pics of my willys soon, I still need to get a photo sharing site.
  5. WOW.. Looks like I would have had a WONDERFUL time also. Wish I could have been there. But the airfare would have set me back a few hundred kits...LOL Thanks for the pics, at least I got a feeling of how much fun it was. next year when you go to your 8th NNL, maybe I should send you my credit card and you can max it out for me...LOL again, thanks for da photos.
  6. The purple paint looks great, keep up the good work. I am also doing this same kit, mine was the coupe/pick-up kit. decided on the coupe. but dident like the rear tires in the kit, so I used the tires from the Lindburg 64' Dodge 330 "color me gone" kit. and parts box cragar mags.
  7. I am in the market for a good quality air compressor for my airbrush and Im looking to keep it under $100.00. What kind would be best. any recomendations would be great. there is just too many to pick.
  8. Hello MCM Forum, I agree with Tired of kitbashing, this is a great forum. everyone posting here seems to be dedicated car modelers. I hope I can contribute to it as much as I get out of it.
