  1. I decided it's been too long since I built or worked on anything. And besides it's good therapy to distract me from other nonsense. So this will be my WIP. I'm telling you right up front, don't expect anything fancy or crazy customizing. I'm building this one with the idea of the way it was meant to be built a long time ago hopefully with less glue smears This is the kit I'm about to desecrate. It's all original I started by washing the body parts, rims, and frame as well as the dashboard I started with these parts because they will all have the same finish color The chassis with every cursed detail molded in. The only assembly required was the axle blocks on the front end. I need to trim off that extra plastic next to the rear screw hole. I didn't notice it until the primer hit it. The dash and rims The hood and body Ok here is a mock up of where this is going. Still haven't picked an interior color yet or decided on the motor
  2. And that's how I made my first million
  3. It is quite annoying to see others side track a thread.
  4. The engine and chassis look real clean, can't wait to see it finished
  5. That is far and away better than my first build. You should be proud.

    Under canvas?

    BMF those fittings
  7. Not trying to put anyone down, or minimize anyone's models. And this is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings. OK enough of the PC nonsense Who do you admire most for their talent ? From what I've seen in my short time on the forum, My first vote has to go to Bill aka MrObsessive. The things he does with models blow me away. And a vote goes to the man who I'm all but convinced is Bills son, goes to Aftashox. Your builds are just beautiful.
  8. Very nice build. I'd love to drive that in real life, that is just too cool
  9. Absolutely beautiful, but one question. Aren't the foot pedals a bit close to the seat
  10. I love following your progress and admiring your eye for detail and obvious talent. Just curious, what do you do in real life for work ?
  11. Growing up in the 60's, that was the coolest car ever and arguably still is. Here's a nice link you might enjoy browsing through http://www.1966batmobile.com/sideview.htm lots of pics and history

    2007 GT500

Does your camera have a timer to delay the shutter action ? Perhaps when you push the button you are moving the camera just enough to cause it to blur.
  13. Welcome to the forum. Your Predicta is very nice, you've got a lot of talent.
  14. I like the addition of the interior lights in the back. That's a nice touch.
  15. Congratulations, as a veteran myself I can say without doubt you are about to start a life changing journey. Good luck, stay safe and thank you for carrying on a fine tradition.
  16. Nice color on the Porsche, and that Nissan interior looks great
  17. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should
  18. Tell ya what Nick, you need to consider yourself lucky. Most of these guys had to learn long ago by themselves what they are trying to give you for free. Back in the 60's when I started the resources that are available today were non existent. No body likes criticism, but guess what kid, that's how ya learn. Instead of running your mouth, stop, listen and learn. Who friggen cares if your feelings are hurt boo hoo. I sure pity you when you get older and you realize the world doesn't owe you ######. You've got a lot to learn kid
  19. I don't know you my friend but I'll be praying for you non the less
  20. like stepping back in time. Very cool.
  21. Happy to report the alcohol did the job, along with a tooth brush
  22. Thanks Mark, I appreciate the quick response
