  1. Wow That has to be one of the most realistic dioramas I've ever seen. I can almost smell the oil and grease stains.
  2. Very different and very nice
  3. I think this is probably one of the most beautiful cars that never got built I want to make one and have no idea where to begin. I'm thinking I could use the back half of a 54 or 55 corvette but I'm at a loss as to what I could use to finish it Anybody got any ideas ?
  4. I was in the Seabees for 8 yrs. At your age you'll be having an advantage over the kids. Use your maturity to your advantage. You'll gain life long friends and have experiences that will last a lifetime. I wish you luck.
  5. I joined, can I be a mod
  6. Good on you Pat, it's not an easy job to be a moderator. In my short time here I really like this forum, but the few outbursts of drama have taken away from the site.

Simply beautiful, so where's the model?
  8. Very nice Chuck I'm anxiously awaiting the next business venture
  9. Having grown up in Rhode Island, I got my chance as a kid to see these Tasca cars up close when they weren't out racing. It was a dream come true for a young kid back then.
  10. Here's a video showing the van http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-9xk3B1Xmo&feature=related
  11. Nice job Brad. And at 13 you are better than I was at that age.
  12. It may have been a bad kit, but you certainly finished it well.

Beautiful color, really fits that car.
  14. Thanks for the quick replies. Charlie you've got some great products on your site.
  15. I am just in awe at some of the detail I see on this forum. I've noticed on some of the builds that valve stems were added to the rims. Are they home made details or available aftermarket ?
  16. Love it
  17. Good Luck to you and your wife Jim I too have been cutting back, but I still haven't quit yet. I quit dope and drinking with no problems and never went back. But smoking is hard to give up. If any young guys are reading this please don't ever start, and if you do smoke quit now because it won't get easier when you are older. Of all the things I've done in my life, this has been the dumbest and most destructive to me.
  18. Nice build and I love those wheels
  19. Looks like a nice set up, anxious to hear a range report
  20. That's got to be the best build of that kit I've ever seen. Great work.
  21. I think the mustang engine really looks at home there. What colors have you picked out ?
  22. Nice job, the 3rd picture down really captures the look in my opinion.
  23. Very excellent and informative article. I'm a woodworker in real life and just recently got into spraying lacquers and I can see some similarities in your methods. I've had first hand experience with windows to work within and it is critical. Keep up the good work. For me, I get better each time I spray. It can be intimidating at first. But mistakes are the best teacher.
  24. It truly is nice to see kids in this hobby. And Alex is a serious talent to contend with.
  25. I was waiting to see if someone would get it
