Awesome tutorial. Is there a collection of the really good tutorials on this site? If not, someone should make one, like a forum with all the outstanding stuff in it. I would make one, but school and homework take all my time that's not spent modelling.
Thanks guys! I was using elmers, but it didn't dry, and I didn't feel like using both hands to hold the glass in place. I'm putting in the sleeper window of Revell's Kenworth W900. I'll try to post some pics when I finish, and some WIP pics I took.
Well, it's been painted, and I'm working on building a 5th wheel hitch, ladder rack, and headache rack for it. I'm only modding this one because I can't find a good stock, modern 1 ton pickup anywhere. Does that count a substantial?
Sorry to double post, but is putting up pics of a diecast modification ok? I modded a Maisto Dodge Ram, and I would like to show you guys the results.
Thanks! -Jake
Oooooh. Wow. Very nicely done. Now to make a model of it? I kid I kid. Anyways, Tony- Where'd you pick up that tow truck? I need something very similar for my shop that has yet to come to reality. Also, any places where one might find a relatively new 1 ton pickup, not outrageously customized? Die cast is fine. Thanks!

For my first truck build I'm going with Revell's Kenworth W900. It's going to be British Racing Green, to go with the colors of my fictional shop/company. Do you guys have any tips on making the build easier, or anything on how to make it look nicer? I'm also planning of getting/building a headache rack out of sprue pieces, and maybe a bull bar too. Any help is welcome! Thanks!
