  1. I have a mint set you can have. PM me your address and I'll send them to you
  2. I have several of those kits, and have no plans for those wheels let me check and see If I have a good looking set to spare.
  3. But I only have enough for a four cylinder!
  4. I did this one back around 2002 For my Friend Pete.
  5. Yes this tutorial explains it quite well.
  6. I had one of those until I sold it recently... here's a link to pictures of the contents...http://public.fotki.com/ashevillemodeler/model_car_stuff/used_car/
  7. The Fujimi enthusiast model Countach, and Aoshima Countach both have hinged doors, as does the Fujimi Diablo, and the 1/16 Fujimi Countach, as well as the 1/12 Doyusha Countach
  8. I usually lose interest once a model is finished. I take it to a few shows in the area, and then it is retired to the display case. Occasionally I'll show them to visitors, and on occasion I give them away because they like it more than I do. there are some though that hold special meaning to me, like this one that I built for my wife, Bobbi... This I'll never get rid of because I added things that represent her, such as the cancer ribbon plate on the front, and other details that remind me of her like a sonic drink cup in the cup holder.
  9. 2.542 posts and still complaining. *Sigh* ...Seriously though. You are complaining about someone complaining. Does he have to have over 2.500 posts before he earns the right to mention what's bugging him? It took just as much building time for you to complain as him.If you don't agree with him, why not say that, instead of making assumptions. Perhaps he posted his complaint while waiting for the paint on his latest project to dry.
  10. That is very cool. I'm the one who did the master for those wheels. You completed yours before I did mine, so now I get to see what those wheels look like painted...lol. Well done. now I can't wait to finish mine.
  11. Usually when I want to see a particular type of build I simply do a search for it, but to each his own.
  12. Here's what I'd like to do with one... Now if I could get a 1/25 Scale Pan Am Jet!
  13. The magazine has no control over that. short of sitting on the news stand issues for a few weeks before mailing them. (which would eat into what little profit they make at this gig.) The issue is with the postal service, and how they handle the bulk shipments differently than the individual subscriber issues. They both get sent out at the same time, but it takes longer for them to get our issue to us.
  14. $44 bucks for that? No detail and the roof line isn't even close to correct.
  15. You can make a decent one by combining the Revell 56 Nomad with Revell 57 Belair...
  16. She's enough of a racer to lead the field at indy. that is good enough for me.
  17. to answer the question, No it isn't at all rare.
  18. Foreign cars? There isn't a single all american car company. Dodge is owned by italians, both ford and GM have as much of a presence in Europe as they do in america. Welcome to the global economy. We produce cars overseas and they "Foreign" companies build cars here, and the money goes everywhere.
  19. Dave is right, you just use a keyboard instead of a screwdriver....Wait a minute did I just say "Dave is right"? Gee that wasn't as painfull as I thought it would be.
  20. I really don't see what the big deal is. EFI won't change the fan experience one bit. You can't tell from the stands whether a car has a carb or fuel injection.
  21. are those wheels from a diecast? I don't recall them being in a mustang kit, but I could be wrong.
