  1. I am new to this. What exactly is Future? I've heard the term thrown around on here a few times.
  2. Hey all, I just finished my JACCS Accord about 3 hours ago and the sponsor decals are already beginning to peel. I didn't use the body decals, opting to do my own custom paintwork. I just tried brushing them with a light white glue solution but that just made them wet. What should I do? Also, since the car is assembled and if I should decide to clearcote it, would getting clear on the head and taillights be a no-no?
  3. I really like how the wheels stick out that way. Makes it look more aggressive.
  4. That's the one I'm working on now. I got 3 decals on then scrapped them (I am novice). I am now doing my own paint job based on that color scheme. I posted a similar thread about using clear. Decals may stay put, but what about paint edges? After I painted a single coat of white on the JACCS Accord and scrapped the decals, I painted 4 separate colors over the white, leaving a "bare" white strip between each one (similar to the JACCS theme). Is there danger if those paint edges chipping or anyhting like that being that the paint is not one complete "shell" covering the entire car?
  5. Thank you very much guys! If there is a flake in it, it shouldn't be an issue.
  6. Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I have been building models like crazy over the last month as I have just graduated college and have nothing better to do Anyway, I have a Tamiya JACCS Accord in progress and have done a custom paint job on it. I have sprayed Tamiya Bright Red, Testors Competition Orange, Tamiya Lime Green, and Tamiya Gloss Black; all rattles. I bought a rattle of Testors clear and was wondering if this is safe to spray over the job I worked so hard on? There will also be decals in the mix once I get that far. I have done a search for this topic, but did not find a solid answer to this question and did not want to hijack another thread. Any advice will be tremendously appreciated, as I do plan on building many many more models! Thank you!
