  1. I have a Badger model #200 that I have had for 20 years and its my favorite airbrush. I also have n Iwata dual action that is gravity fed. I like my bager better because I am more comfortable with it.
  2. I will have to pass. I could think of many more things I could do with that money
  3. Could you color sand and rub them out? I am not sure if you have a little dust in the clear or what was going on. My first guess is if its really small you could color sand and polish with a polishing kit. Now I am not sure how many coats of clear you have on it it another option is to color sand (wet sand) with some fine grit paper 1500 or 2000 an reshoot the clear. If you are just wanting to do lets say a fender you could tape off at the body lines and re shoot just that area. I know these are not the only option but just a couple ideas for you.
  4. Brett....i am totally digging this build. I am loving the chopped top and that ride height is perfect. That color on the roof looks great!! You going to do the whole car that color??. Keep up the awesome work.
  5. This is looking great!! Nice work!
  6. Bill... No they didn't hit me with a hazmat shipping fee. I found my invoice when I last bought from them and it was back on 8/3/2011. They have a $25.00 min order. And back then the quarts were $13.20 ea, so I ordered 2 to make the min order price. So total was $26.50 and shipping and handling was $13.83 for a total of $40.30. James....as I mentioned the last time I order was on 8/3/2011 and I opened one of the quarts on 8/23/2011 and I have about 1/2 a quart left from that can now plus my 2nd can I haven't even opened yet. So a year and half on basically a pint that has been used. And as you said depends on how much you use. I use this to glue all of my bare plastic....scratch building or parts from a kit. I always pour into a smaller bottle which I will have open when using. Sometimes I use a brush and sometimes I use a flexifile touch n flow applicator.
  7. John... I am loving this and it's just Bitchen!! Those flames are killer and I love how you added more to them and I can't wait to see the trunk lid. Keep up the awesome work!! You are the man!
  8. This is one sweet car. I love it
  9. You are welcome. I had a plastics shop here in phoenix that I got a pint from years ago and they went out of business so i had to find somewhere else and found that company online and couldn't beat the price. Gkad I coukd pass on the info.
  10. As Bill mentioned, it is much more cost effective buying in a bigger quantity. Years ago Weld-On #3 was able to be purcased in 4oz bottkes in hobbies stores....well thats where i first got mine. At some point in time you stopped seeing it in hobby stores. I really love this glue so I had to find other sources for it. The last time I ordered ir I got it from a company out in Placerville Ca which is 45 miles from Sacramento. Here is the website if anyone is interested www.thefabricatorssource.com i just got on their website to check prices and a quart (32 oz) is $16.40 which equals .51 cents an ounce. A pint (16 oz) is $10.50 which equals .65 cents an ounce and they even have 4 oz bottles for $5.70 which equals $1.43 an ounce. I bought two quarts last time because of the min order and I jist transfer from the quart container to a smaller jar.
  11. I have to agree with Pat here about airbrushing. It is about learning the airbrush and the paints you are using. You also have way better control of the spray pattern.
  12. I use Weld-On #3 which is like tenax and pro ambroid as well as CA with accelerator.
  13. Brett... the wonder wagon turned out great. Very nice job on this one
  14. Chuck.... that looks awesome man. Again nice work. I am digging this body.
  15. More like a Grand Slam

  18. John... Thank you bud. I appreciate it. i just love the color combo's on this build. I will show you some pics of a build I want to do some flames on when you are here for the Desert Scale Classic. I truly can't wait to see this one in person next month.
  19. John.... those flames look awesome and I love the color. What color is it? I am guessing HOK right? I have been eyeing those flame masks myself and I need to get an order in. Which sets were those from if you dont mind me asking . Again this build is just beautiful and i am loving it. Nice work!
  20. Danno... thank you bud. Dave... thanks bud.... yeah I have to admit that I am getting excited with getting to some of the body details done. I think I needed a change up from the chassis or more so a break from it lol. Hope to have the rear done and start on the front pieces this week. I really want to work on it tonight bit have some house chores I need to do when I get home. hopefully I will get a little bench time tonight.
  21. John... Awesome work on the little details. Everything looks great! That skull is awesome!
  22. Mark....these are both beautiful builds. I am very impressed by them. Are these 1/16th or 1/25th scale? Again nice work!!
  23. I prefer using my air brush or my HVLP mini detail gun. I spray mostly PPG and House of Kolor paints on my builds for the body's. But I do use rattle cans for chassis, interior, and various other pieces.
  24. Dave...that is just Bad A$$!!!!. I love your work. Nice job on this.
  25. You need to take a look at Micro Nitro for some turned aluminum wheels. Jim does some killer work and I believe he has two different styles for the mustang.
