I don't know about calipers, but the discs ya can probably make from washers ya get from yer workshop (or yer girlfriends/wifes car), to give'm the right look; strap em down and sand in circulating motions over it, or even better up; get a sanding bit for yer dremmel (hell no, i aint got a dremel!!). I hope ya get the idea...

  16. yeah, ive been looking around for alternative sources for model accesories, like eg. seatbelt material, wich i found in the first textiles dealer. i bought it for 6SEK per meter (1$~7SEK) and got home to compare it to the seatbelt material i bought 3 feet of for 27SEK. It was identical. many modelaccesories actually is avalible much cheaper at somewhere els at a much cheaper price. so i was wondering if there is an alternativ putty out there, i was wandering around the chemicals-sector of my workshop and found a tube of two part fiberglass putty, that might work but its hard to work with, especially in small places like model cars. So any of you more experienced (and in difference from me SKILLED) modelers out there got any ideas??
  17. You're good! that's a modern version of the smokey and the bandit pontiac, right?.
  18. Well, this seems like a close call so far. Im loggin on here today to ask how you guys feel about mixin eras of production in next weeks oponent, eg. this -58's winner would be competing with for example a -70's car or one from somewhere in the 30's, some people might think theres no comparisment and i should stick to cars wich was produced within 2-3 years from eachother. so what do you think?
  19. you really is obsessive.....that must be MANY workinghours....
