  1. Nice build. Please do another with white-walls!
  2. I am willing.
  3. Very nice.
  4. Well, not much time to do much today but got some more cutting and filing done. The box opening is now cut out and the filling and shaping for the roof is next (I think).
  5. ssshhhh! Mike might be listening and get the idea that he should have one to go with it.
  6. A hot-rod 'tractor' to pull your show trailer.
  7. I am afraid that I did not document the building of this model. The winch was constructed of brass and aluminum stock (strip, tubing, angle etc.) which was soldered and/or bolted together with some gears taken from broken toys. The towing assembly was the most miserable to do as it required building the tiny universal joints so that it had complete range of movement. I do not know how this vehicle was actually used but it did appear that it was, I assume for small sports-cars at the track.
  8. Been away for a week where the temperature is a bit on the cold side! Anyhow, back to the bench. Did some more cutting today, getting the skirts removed and defining the size of the tail-gate.
  9. I built this one for a friend that had seen the real thing at an Ontario track. I used a Kyosho Mini and brass and aluminum stock to build the winch and tow-bar assembly which is fully functional.
  10. This model was built from a die-cast '53 Cadillac. I took 3/4 of an inch out of the length and lowered it and reconfigured the rear deck and added a continental kit. Tamiya rattle-can paint and minor details finished it off.
  11. has not set their status

  12. Hello one and all.

  13. Stripped of chrome and the cutting started.
