  1. Great build & idea. Very well done. I see what you mean by the Cobra windsheild. No matter, it is still very cool & turned out well. The layout for the coupe version looks cool as well.
  2. All very nice clean builds. It is great to see them built stock. Looking forward to seeing the others.
  3. What a cool looking trailer. Very nice build & a great idea. Also like the weathering on the undersides.
  4. Very nice build & love the color choice.
  5. This is a 1/43 resin kit from Prestige Turbo of France. Very nice clean simple kit with a lot of decals. It does have turned aluminum rims & center lugs. The only etch is the wheel centers. I did add the missing roll cage bars, seat belts & decal gauges to the dash. The paint is tamiya white over Vallejo primer, followed by 2 days of applying decals. The final paint is a 2 part Dupont clear. One of the last steps & the hardest for me is those vac formed windows.
  6. Absolutely beautiful! Very clean & very well done, love it!

  11. Great looking Holden. You did a fine build of the kit. Like the graphics & finish. The fibre-resin sounds like quite a material to work with. Will have to try it.

Very nice, clean build. You did a fine build of a classic kit. Looks great in white with the 2 tone interior. I do have the racing version in the kit stash with Jagermeiter decals.

  18. Beautiful build, Guy! Some very fine work.
  19. The Ferrari Daytona used in the Miani Vice TV series was a kit car that fit on a Corvette. The company that made the kit was Trend international. The cars were built by Tom McBurnie of Thunder Valley. Tom worked for Trend International building, modifying & repairing Ferraris. He also helped develope the Daytona kit. He is still building cars today in his Thunder Valley shop. So, for this custom, I did not modify a real Ferrari Daytona. I found an old tired Vette & purchased the kit. Acually, this is built from an old record 1/43 resin kit. First was those resin wheels, goodbye! I used a set of BBR etched wire wheels & some low profile race tires from the parts bin. The brakes are from Machined Aluminum Specialties. They are very nice, but too big for 1/43. The inside of the body was ground out so the car could be lowered. The axle slots were also modified for the new stance. The front & rear spoilers are from Evergreen plastic. The roll bar is also from Evergreen rod. The interior received belts made from an aluminum wine bottle foil & etch hardware from the etched bin. The steering wheel is a 4 piece kit from Renaisanse. The dash gages were from a Verage decal sheet, removed with a punch & die set. Paint is auto acrylic laquer primer. A base coat of tamiya white was followed by a mixed Tamiya yellow. Dupont 2 part clear finished the body. The hardest part was the windshield. It took 5 tries to get one to fit properly. I finally made a new master & vac formed it. She is finally done. It was challanging, a lot of fun & I am very happy with the Daytona.
  20. This started as a 1/64 Muscle Machines die cast. It is about 2-1/2'' long. Thank you for the comments.
  21. It's about time! Sorry it took sooo long. She is finally done & I am very happy with her.
  22. I'm back! Sorry it took sooo long. The back ordered etched parts finally arrived. The discs are from anolder Provence Moulage kit & the clipers are from Tameo. The center nut is from Scale Hardware. Now I am ready for the final assembly. The interior wass glued to the inner body as well as the etched grill. Followed by the chassis pan & wheels. The windows were cut from sheet acetate & attached with 5 minute Epoxy. The headlights received their Renaisance lenses & glued to the grill shell. The final touch was the rear plate & she is done! The finished pics are in the under glass section.
