  2. Thanks Roger I'll have to look into opening up the grille instead of painting it, I used to have a 66 2 door, and my dad used to have a 65 2 door, and I sold mine like an idiot...
  3. I agree I think the 67 is a bad boy, I love the 65-67 impalas the most. My father had a 65 impala 2dr, and I use to have a 66 impala 2 door, and I sold it like and idiot... thanks again fellas...

  6. thanks fellas, I pulled this one back out today, and I got the body polished and bmf put on the body, I also got the glasses, in I still need to paint the headliner and detail the engine, and enigne compartment,, thanks for looking and comments welcome...

  9. Thanks Robert, and Darryl, well I'm getting a little closer to finishing this one up, I added a few decals to the windows, made a rear kill switch from a straight pen, and added interior door handles made from aluminum coke can, here's a few pics..

  11. thanks fellas, well I got a little more done on this one last night, I got the glasses in and added nut and bolts detail to them, I also got the rear chutes added and detailed, and detailed the rear tailights, I used bmf, and colored the lenses with red and black sharpie's,, more updates later on today.

  14. Thanks for all the nice comments fellas I added 3 more coats of clear last night, I'll give it a few days to dry, then I'll polish it out and try to get this one wrapped up thanks for looking.

  18. what's up fellas, this past weekend since the weather was nice I got a couple of coats of clear on the body, and wet sanded it down to smooth down the areas where I added the green stripe, I also added aome decals, I still need to touch up the area around the grille, I plan on putting on about 3/4 more good coats of clear on here, so when I start polishing I've got a good cushion, gonna really try to make this one shine....were getting close though. Thanks for looking and comments welcome.....

  21. Those wheels look great on here Joe, I have plans to do one of these in the near future with a blown engine setup, I saw the 1/25 scale body at the show in Smyrna, I should have picked up one then but the 68 narrow body had to be dealt with first,.. You're doing an excellent job...

  25. I had to redo the doors, hood and the trunk. they got a lot of trash in them when I was clearing them, so I repainted them and then they were a little darker than the rest of the car so I stripped them all down and repainted them. Still need to add clear coat and windows to the doors...
