  4. looks nice, i like the stripe-less look on it.
  5. okay got this from hobby lobby on clearence for about $35 and its just going to be a stock Carrera GT. the only thing i am adding is body color valve covers to bring color to the engine bay. i need to do some touch ups on the engine. tell me what you think, the body is cleared but not polished.
  6. very nice color!!!! i want this kit so bad, but the price has stopped me from getting one right when they came out. maybe ill just spend the money and get on anyway.
  7. thats coming out nice. what color were you thinking about.
  8. do you know of a website that sells tamiya paints in the USA? i know of hobby linc but there out of their surface primer.
  9. i've tried color place and its awful, lacquers are the only thing that work for me in my tropical climate.
  10. I use a lot of model master lacquers because is easily available and i wont touch enamels. they dont do good in my climate. i like the model master lacquers but was wondering about a good primer for it. I tried the model master lacquer primer but its rubbish. it never adheres so i can easily scratch it off even after months of drying and it messes up the color coat by making it really rough. so my question is, what kind of primer goes good under model master paints. i normally dont use a primer but when i do body work of a kit is modeled in a color i like to.
  11. go LSU !!!!

  12. the gold stripes look great on it, has a gt-h look to it.
  13. i like the drag look on it, dont give up on it because of the paint. i think paint is one of the hardest part of a model to master. p.s. havnt seen an update video lately
  14. very nice start, the seat looks so gooood!.
  15. thats a beautiful car, the wheels really make it.
  16. okay, got alot more done, mainly to the tamiya one. on the aoshima one i primed the body and did a little detailing the the chassis. the tamiya one got cleared, wheels painted, chassis mainly done except for the muffler 1. aoshima 2007 nissan 350Z: 2.Tamiya 2003 Nissan 350Z I gave the chassis a good treatment of dry-brushing to simulate daily driver wear and tear from 2003. this is where the color pops, after clear in the sun. now i have to wait a week to polish the clear. the wheels were silver, but i sprayed a good few coats of one coat lacquer, graphite metallic. not too dark, just has a nice almost stock coloring to them. subtle!
  17. im liking the stang, can't wait to see what it looks like with clear. if you dont want the stock front grille w/ emblem & lights. i could find a use for it. P.S. this is me from youtube.
  18. yeah im going to detail paint the chassis, ill probably be done with the orange chassis tomorrow.

Aoshima plans: white, scratch built front lip, bronze Volks, dual exhaust, racing seats, intercooler ( no turbo cause no engine haha) 2. Tamiya plans, a simple re-built, sunset le mans (orange), intercooler, everything else stock pics of Aoshima kit. heres the front lips made from Milputty and bondo interior is almost done! pics of the tamiya kit still need clear coat chassis is almost complete, at least the aoshima kit has separate exhaust. be social and write some stuff!!!!!
