  2. Yep, just as it says in the post Well, unfortunately I can not take credit for that, that is actually a decal from the Monogram Baja Beast Thanks for the comments guys
  3. Hi guys Here are Monograms Hangman show rod. I replaced the wheels and tires with parts from a couple of toy motorcycles, otherwise its box stock. As usually I used Motip automotive spraybombs for painting it, and the black color is also painted, its not the plastic color.... I hope you like it....
  4. Thanks for the comments guys Well Spyder, Here´s the box art:
  5. 142 views and 1 comment.... That bad?
  6. Nice job, it looks good. If the first pic is the original version though, I would have kept it that way.....
  7. This is MPC´s old Street Beast ´26, a terrible kit to build. Tons of flash and very poor fit. At the time for the photos, it was ust finished, so there are still support under the exhaust to hold them up Its built box stock, painted with Motip automotive spray bombs, and decals from the parts box...
  8. Thanks a lot guys
  9. Ha ha, I guess it is Jimmy, but I dont care what people says about that, just like I dont care if you spell customs with a K.... Its oK with me Kustoms and Radikal Ridez Rulez.....
  10. Dont hijack Jimmys thread with all your talk of Barris and Customs/Kustoms.... If you need to debate that, start a new thread. I dont understand the "welcome" Jimmy got here. Trouble with his username, trouble that he spelled custom with a K, and accused of not building his model. Geez guys... Come on, is that the kind of welcome we should give newcomers? Well Jimmy, welcome on the board. I like your model, nice job, and nice choice of color. I dont doubt that you built it yourself. Like some of the guys said, be sure to align the wheels and tires, otherwise a very nice model
  11. Ha ha... yes I guess so
  12. This Pontiac came to live as an experiment. I had this idea of shortening the roof, to get this long rear deck taildraggin look.... During the building of this model, my modelbuddy´s challenged me along the way, so finally it got quite wild. One of the challenges were to use one of the bath tubs, from Bob Reisner´s The Bathtub show rod. Custom grille, and scratchbuilt tube grille. The bubbleskirts were made from the penholder of an AMT Prestige kit (Another challenge) Here is clear to see the chopped, shortened, and moved foreward roof.... The rear is customized also. The door is hanging due to a little girl, who could´nt keep her fingers to her self Rear seat replaced by the bath tub, equipped with tv, telephone a some magazines.... Steering wheel made of real silver chain... ´59 Caddy tail lights on the front wheels... (yep, they DID that on 1:1 cars...) Well, all in all a fun project.... And I won all the challenges... ha ha
  13. Cool Ghia, I like the wheels and color. Great job
  14. It looks really good, its a great save.... I love renovating them old build ups
  15. Actually I have a 60´ties kit with parts in plastic bags. This one is guranteed 100 % original, and it is from 1965....
  16. Well, I started out building WWII airplane models, That is almost 40 years ago. I dont remember the first plane, but my first car model came in 1976, and it was this one: Here is the actual model I have a couple of unbuilt ones now, and one of them, are going to be build box stock, as a tribute to my very first car model. Christian (Junkman) wrote: "You know what we all should do? We should take the first (car?) kit we ever built, and build it exactly how we inteded it to look back then - but with the skills we have today. Now THIS would be a funny community buildoff, nay? " Yes, that IS a great idea.....I´m in...
  17. That was a nice bike Jody. It looks like its an original bike, do you have the manefactueres name? What bike is it? I have the GT Deuce in black, but I actually like this one better....
  18. No, this is a keeper, and I aint gonna do anything to it.... Just keep it the way it is...
  19. I think you´re right there... By the way, this is not one of the mild ´n wild kits, this is all "homemade"
  20. Absolutely.... And lots of imagination too... I think it shows great innovation
  21. Well, I bought a model lot, and this was part of it.... No doubt built by a child sometime back then. I dont want to make fun at anyone, but this model is..... well, something else... I think I´ll let the pics speak for themselves.... Who knows, maybe this model will inspire you

    Gasser56

That looks just killer.... I have always loved those high riders/gasser style cars, but especially the ones in street trim (none dragracers) Its simply bad a** and tough looking.....
  23. Great job on the Bee, and I really like the color.... And the window washer bottle... They are just beautiful cars them Bee´s....
  24. Hi Rustybill Well, the silver striping are in fact decals. This is an old MPC issue of the Lil´ Gasser, and if I remember correctly, the silver striping are´nt in the new reissue. I could be wrong though, but as far as I remember, they are´nt...
  25. That looks just fantastic, great job... Just too bad you could´nt afford a roof
