Not much to do with modeling.

Know how you feel. In 3 weeks I go in for hip replacement surgury. I'll be out for 3 months. Also looking at a possible carrer change because of it. I am looking forward to more time to build but hate the idea of not working for 3 months. -
we don't have any clubs in my area, so i doen;t have to endure those club builds. seven hours is pretty darn good if you ask me. I'd still be just looking at parts, trying to decide what to do first after seven hours.

25 built 10 in some stage of construction and another 80-90 waiting in the wings. The ideas come faster than the actual creations.

Donald, participate in this hobby at whatever level you want to. Don't let those with a narrow mind tell you if you are doing enough. who cares what they think. If you listen to them it'll take all the fun out of the hobby and you'll end up quitting. It also doesn't matter what your work space is like. I've got a whole room to myself. But only because my kids are grown and have moved away from home. My work bech used to be the dining room table. Now it's an old kitchen table in a room in the basement. I also have about 80 kits in my collection. but it's taken 15 years, several swap meets, and a number of kits bought on clearance ( i buy faster then i build). I started out alot like you, no I'm no Romell, but every model gets alittle better, and everyone is a learning experience. Whatever you do JUST HAVE FUN. -

man you must have some twisted dreams at night. i'm just jealous that I did'nt think of it first. Yes we want to see more!!! -
Looks really good. I like the brick. When you look at a real brick building you'll see lots of brick. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

My Grandmother bought me my first model when I was staying with her for 2 weeks, just to give me something to do to keep me out of her hair. This would have been the early 70's. If memory serves me right it was the double dragster kit, and my uncle built most of it for me, "cause it was way over my head. But it got me hooked.

Looks really good! Only thing I would point out is that few vehicles of that age with that amont of wear in the paint survive without a dent or two. Also the hinges are one place where rust will form first, like on the back door. Overall very well done. You'll pick up on these small derails the more you do.
