  9. The famous Peters & Frank "Freight Train" was indeed the inspiration for the front engine car .......... the rear was patterned after Rico Paris' rear engine twin

  16. ... a light coat of a quality clear paint will seal the old decal ......... the only issue is that it makes the decal sheet continuous ........ like a Cady decal ....... you have to cut close to the images ........ here's a Gene Snow Charger decaled in this manner ........... the Slixx decals were over ten years old and went on beautifully

  18. The last time I saw this car in April of '74 at Amarillo Dragway it had braided hoses all the way around ......... Judy's hubby and crew chief Dennis Maurer said that the great variety of altitudes and barometric pressures they raced at caused problems with the finicky beast's cooling system ......... he found the braided hoses helped somewhat ........ must not have been enough though, as they parked the Barracuda in August of '74 and sold it over the winter .......... went to running a SS/MA Duster
