  1. LOOKS GREAT!!! Always liked Fiats, and yours is Really Nice...
  2. Looks Great so far!!!
  3. QUAD TRIKE!!! I used two 1/25th scale wheels and part of a Star Wars X-Wing Fighter to make the Converter and Transmission for the Two BiG Harley Engines! The Headers were made from the Cord from a Computer Mouse. Last One! That's All Folks...
  4. MORE QUAD PHOTOS!!! I used Black Felt to cover the Seat and the Flame Decals are from the Torch Kit. The Air Cleaners are from Replicas & Minatures. The Rear Wheel & Tires are from the Parts Box and the Rear Axle is from an 1/16th scale 1957 Chevy. I used Testors Lime Ice Paint for the Quad. I almost gave up then, I finally found "Quad" Decals, they were in an Olds Aerotech Kit! A Few More Coming...
  5. THE QUAD IS DONE!!! The Quad Trike is an Original 4 Cylinder Custom Harley Trike. It started with the Revell 12th scale Torch Chopper Kit. I added an Extra Engine & Scratchbuilt Custom Body, Stretched the frame and Converted it into a 3 Wheeler... The Gastank was Sectioned and the Cyclops Headlight is from Ed Roth's Mysterion. The Handle bars were extended a little more than an inch and the Rear Wheel & Tire are used on the front. The Quad Body is made from Sheet Plastic and two rear Fenders. The Exhaust Pipes are made from aluminum tubing and the Taillight is a Rhinestone. More Coming...

    GREAT PAINTING!!!
  7. QUAD'S DONE!!! Everything is glued in place now. Finished up all of the last details and applied the Flame Decals from the Torch Kit. I looked through my collection for "QUAD" Decals and couldn't find any... So yesterday I took a break from the Quad and started a new project...the Doner Kit is the Olds Aerotech. I did a lot of Cutting, Fitting, Sanding, More Chopping, More Fitting and Sanding. I got a Real Good start on my new project. Then today I looked on the bottom of the box and there are some decals, I turn over the Aerotech Decal Sheet and there are 2 "QUAD" Decals! I'M HAPPY NOW!!! Photos of the Finished QUAD will be posted soon...

    Mako Show Rod

    BEAUTIFUL!!!
  10. GREAT BUILD BOB!!! I have this one too, one of my favorite planes...
  11. BARS & FORKS!!! I opened the front of the frame and slipped the Forks in, then I glued it together. I used a Rear Wheel & Tire on the front so I had to remove the Fender Mounts from the Forks for clearence. I accidentally broke one of the two Pins off the top of the Forks as shown in the photo, so I broke the other one off too. I drilled a hole in each of these two spots for the Handlebars. It would have been easier to do before mounting the Forks... The brass rods fit right in the holes. Here are the Handlebars in place!
  12. EXTENDING THE BARS!!! I tried to make a few handlebars for the Quad, but they were pretty funky. So I decided to make Extentions rather than a new set of Bars. I started with 3/32" plastic tubing and brass rod. I cut the Tubing and then cut the Rod a little longer. Then I pushed the Rod into the Tubing... I removed the chrome from the stock Bars. After a little Fitting and Trimming the Extentions fit right inside the Bars! I bent the bars back a little at the ends to make the angle of the Bars just right!
  13. LOOKS GREAT RICHARD!!!
  14. THANKS JOHN!!! It wont be long now, I should have the Quad finished today! See you at NNL West...
