  1. JUST A LITTLE LONGER... I cut 2 Plastic Strips to fit over the 2 Frame Braces, next to them. Here they are in place. I did this to strengthen the frame before I cut it in half! I cut the frame at these 4 points because I am going to slide a, 1 inch and 1/8 long, piece of aluminum of tubing over each cut. This will make the frame about 3/4 inch longer! Here are the aluminum tubes glued in place!
  2. ADDING A LITTLE COLOR... I started by painting Ed's T Shirt with White Acylic Paint. Then I painted his Jeans with 2 shades of blue. I painted the flesh color next. Then I painted the hair Black. I used pointed Tooth Picks to paint Ed's Beard, Mustash and Eye Brows... I added a Rat Fink Decal to Ed's T Shirt. Then I sprayed the body and arms with Testors Dull Coat. Quick Test Fit ! I think he likes it...
  3. THE REAR END... Here are the stock frame sides... I glued the Frame Sides together and carved out the rears of the Frame Sides as shown. I didn't glue the top front of the frame so I can still slip the forks in later... I was going to use the Rear End from the Shaker Trike but it was too big. I ended up using an 16th scale 57 Chevy Rear End. Rear View... More Coming...
  4. NO MORE CHAINS!!! I used a part from a AMT X-Wing Fighter for the Transmission. It kind of looks like a small Funny Car Trans... Here it is in place between the Engines. I added a bit of tubing on the end and a small piece of plastic between the 2 parts. I will be using a 1/6th scale drive shaft from a car instead of a Chain! More Coming...
  5. ED'S NEW RIDE... The Pilot from the Stinger Kit had an Uniform and Hat. I ground off the hat with the Dremel Tool. I also removed the High Collar and Zipper down the from of the Jacket. I thought it would be Fun to set up Ed Roth as the Pilot. So I added Putty for Hair, Beard and to cover up the Jacket. After sanding the Putty smooth, I sprayed some Grey Primer/Filler on the Figure... After a little more putty and sanding and I sprayed a Basecoat of Flat White on the Figure... Looks like Ed is ready for some Painting...
  6. FULL COLOR BUTTONS!!! I used different colored markers to add color over the Rub & Buffed Buttons... The Pilot is Coming Soon...
  7. LOOKS GREAT!!! Great Detailing, Very Realistic...
  8. BEAUTIFUL BUILD!!!
  9. DOUBLE HARLEYS!!! I found that the Rear Wheels from the Mustang Mach III were the perfect size for the Engine Connecting Transmission. I removed the chrome from the Wheels... I glued the wheels together, back to back... Here is the Engine Mock-Up with the Wheel Part in place. This will be the spacing for the Engines... More Coming...
  10. Thanks Hugh! I put a little Rub & Buff on my finger and rubbed it on the buttons. It's a paste, you apply a thin layer and you can polish it with a rag or Q-Tip...
  11. MOVIN' INSIDE!!! I painted the Interior Flat Black. Then I then I used some Run & Buff and highlighted all of the Knobs & Buttons! Rather than filling the gaps with plastic, I used Brass Screen on both sides of the seat... Stiletto is controlled with Handle Bars attached to the Control Column. I carved down the sides of the Rectangular Control Column, Nice & Curvy... Here is another view... More Coming...
  12. QUAD TRIKE!!! QUAD TRIKE will be a 3 Wheel, 4 Cylinder Harley... I started with a Revell 12th scale Torch Chopper, Mag Wheels and a Seat from the Shaker Trike, and a couple of Harley Davison Engines! I think the 2 Rear Low Profile tires are from a Formula One Kit... The first thing I did was remove the chrome from the Vintage Wheels and the Harley Engines...
  13. Thanks for the suggestion Jake!!!
  14. Thanks Richard!!! I am still doing some body work on these...
