  1. Thanks for the kind words Niko! I really appreciate it...
  2. FLAIRS! I cut the Fender Flairs off the ZZZZZ-28 Body so that I could add them to the McScaren Body. After a lot of Cutting & Fitting, I got a pretty good fit on the Rear Flairs. Pretty good fit on the other side too. More Coming...
  3. Nose Brace! I added a couple plastic strips to the inside of the Nose. This will make a good Gluing Spot for the Chassis later. Here it is with the Chassis in place. I am going to make a new windshield so I puttied up the old windshield grooves. More Coming...
  4. The Spoiler! I decided to make a Spoiler for McScaren. I started with a piece of sheet plastic. Next I cut the Sheet Plastic down to fit. Then I sanded the bottom edge of the Spoiler so when I glued it on it was on an angle. Rear View. More Coming...
  5. Filling In... I cut 2 lengths of plastic strip and glued them in the sides of the Engine Compartment. Here is McScaren on the Chassis with the new Engine Compartment. Just enough room for the Big Hemi. More Coming...
  6. Thanks Mike! Happy you enjoyed it...
  7. Even More Power! I needed more room for the Big Hemi, so I cut out the engine compartment. That should do it... More Coming...
  8. Looks Great! Wonderful Paint & Decals...
  9. Great Looking Combo Jim! Wonderful Paint & Detailing...
  10. More Power! I need more room to mount the X-Wing Jet Engines. So I added a piece of sheet plastic on the back of the Chassis. Then I added a strip along the bottom. Next I glued a piece of sheet plastic over the strip. Now the angle is right for mounting the Jet Engines. More Coming...
  11. Great Start!
  12. Thanks Russ! So glad you like the Beast...
  13. Rocket Slot! I'm drawing a Slot for the Jet Engines to fit through. Next I cut it out with a Dremel Tool. Rear View! More Coming...
  14. Need More Vents! I cut a couple lengths of Stairs for the rear. Then I marked off 2 areas to be cut out. I cut out the areas Then I used a sanding board to make a real nice fit on the Vents. When I get a Tight Fit, I put the Vents in place and they don't fall out. Then I apply Zap-A-Gap to the Vents on the inside the Body. This makes a nice clean bond that is east to clean up. More Coming...
  15. McScaren Rear End! The used McLapper body didn't have a Rear End. So I borrowed a Rear End from a complete kit and traced the shape on sheet plastic. After a little more trimming and fitting I got the Rear End to fit pretty good. Next I cut a length of strip plastic and bent the ends down a little. Then I glued it in place. Next I cut a length of thick strip plastic and glued it in the gap as shown. Here is the Rear End after some more sanding. More Coming...
  16. Great Project Dave!
