  1. LOTS MORE CHIPS! I copied the Chip Patterns on the Viper Body and added similar shaped Chips to the bare sections... I added a few more on the Wing Fins, mimicking the patterns on the Wing. I added more Chips all over, including adding more to the original Viper Body and Wing Parts. Next I sanded all of the New Chips down a little thinner and smoother. More Coming...
  2. Great Engine!
  3. Nice Detailing!
  4. Great Progress! Looks Real Nice...
  5. CHIPS! The Viper Body has little Chips, or Square Shapes all over. The Snow Speeder Wing Tips, X-Wing Body and Sheet Plastic Add-Ons had no Chips. So I am going to add some Chips! I started with a few thin strips of Plastic. I cut several squares and rectangles with the X-Acto Knife. Then I cut some of the on angles to make triangles. I used the X-Acto Knife to hold the Chips while I added Zap-A-Gap with a tooth pick. Then I used the Knife to position the Chip and glued it in place. More Coming...
  6. Thank You Patrick! Your Race Cars are Great...
  7. Great Project!
  8. NICE & TIGHT! I needed to add a little wedge shape of plastic on each side to fill the big gaps. That made a big difference. A little more sanding and fitting and I have a Real Nice fit on the Bubble. I will be adding a little putty later to fill and little gaps I missed. More Coming...
  9. Great Project! Love those little Fiats...
  10. Thanks Gary! I never thought of it that way...
  11. WORKING THE BUBBLE! Here is the Top in place after a little Sanding with Foam Sanding Boards. I trimmed the front edge of the Cockpit off round to match the Bubble Top. Then I sanded the back an side edges flat. Here is the fit at this point. More Filling and Fitting is necessary, but it's almost a Perfect Fit. More Coming...
  12. CHERRY BOMB BUBBLE! I found that the Cherry Bomb Bubble Top would be a pretty good fit on the Fire Frog, after a little cutting and fitting. Fortunately I found couple extras in the parts box. Here is the Top in place. I used thin masking tape to mark where I wanted to cut the Bubble Top off. I cut the Top with a Cut-Off Wheel in the Dremel Tool. I tend to cut things a little over size to help cover for mistakes. More Coming...
  13. WE HAVE FINS! Here is a photo with the Fins in place. Rear View! More Coming...
  14. FINS ARE IN! I fit the Fins to the Wings and cut off the excess plastic from the rear of the Fins. Here is a Fin glued in place. The Panel Lines on the Fin look pretty good. I used Half-Round Plastic Strip to fill the gaps between the Fins and the Wings. More Coming...
  15. NEW WING FINS! I decided to make some Fins for the Wings. I had these Wing Parts leftover from a MPC Snow Speeder, so I measured and marked the size Fins that I would need. These are 2-sided Wing Fins, nice wedge shape. Here are the Top and Bottom Wing Fins from one side. I also made a Template to set the Fin Angle when I glue the Fin to the Wing. Here is the Fin glued together. I made the Top wider to increase the gluing area to the Wing. Sorry a little out of focus... More Coming...
