  4. I am so new to this site & posted pictures into what's on bench & got a feed back that this site would be better for what I am building I started with a 1/25th Pete kit a Revell 359. I added to the cowl & hood 1" a 1/2" on each side. Ialso added 4" to the frame wanted to make this 359 a 379. I had the old air cleaners so put in a double fire wall and hooked the two air cleaners with S&K aluminum tubing. I also built another fire wall covering it with a self stick stainless steel from machined alum ,MAS.I also added two small sleepers together,I also made front bumper sun visor hump in sleepers stone chip guard for front fenders. was going with the truck look ,but added drom plate with tool boxs.painted it all gun metal silver gray, than added the lavender with black striping. I think I will stay down into this section when it comes to trucks thanks huffanpuff.

  8. I got away from auto transport building & this is what I did. I took this kit. it was a 359 peterbilt kit & made it a 379 pete. I added a 1/2" to cowl & added also a 1/2" to hood. I also added 4" to frame by making new frame rails.I also added two sleepers together .I painted it all again light gray primer than gun metal silver gray. taped off painted lavender with black striping. now I need to scratch build a trailer. I think the kit with out any changes is 11" long, this one with the add on's came out 17.50"long. there isn't a 379 pete kit made that I know of in 1/25th scale.

  12. Well hello there. I did a run through this site & like the idea of flipping through the mag & after seeing some of the works here I was left with the thought of, I am sort of a amateur builder. I build in 1:25th scale & most of it is in semi's.

I did build a auto transport with a Peterbilt

kit than used balsa wood & plastic.
