  1. I don't mind critisism, am not offended whatsoever. And here is Sunday evening .
  2. Well, I sanded the tread a tiny bit, but on the real car they are brand spankin' new Cookers. Therefore too much would destroy the look I was goin' for. And there is this thing with tires, no matter how much I sand, they still look like on this pics, so I gave up trying.
  3. Please do that! The only downdraft to this kind of buildin is that you'll end up with tons of useless stuff. Currently I have a Hudson here, that I got just for the tires and the engine. Will make a really awkward rod.
  4. There is still more... Please notice the headlining. Maybe my favourite detail on this one:
  5. Diggin' this one out. Since you enjoyed the pics of the Bomber, I'd like to show you some pictures that I made of my 29 the same day. They are shot outside, in my yard on a cloudy day, the detail, and contrasts are not as hardcore as on the previous pics made in a studio, and therefore those photographs are more what the model looks like. Have fun!
  6. Glad you like it. It's been waiting for pics for over 3 years .
  7. I will, but I live in Denmark, no paypal, no nothing. I will try customer service first.
  8. Hello out there, I just begann another kit, and now I miss a part. I ordered three 29 Fords from Revell (The 3 in 1 kit), thru Ebay USA, and became them sealed, build two, now on with the third one, and it is missing the grille shell... Strange thing, because other than that everything is there, it just seems as if was broken out of the sprue. Of course i checked the bags and whatnot, as it is not incommon that some parts break of during transport, but nothing there. Do you have any experience with what to do in that case? I really don't want to buy another set just for the grille...
  9. Whoa... That's a first one. Very cool.
  10. Does not look like the first try. It is awesome. Very realistic. More!
  11. Who is Chuck Most please?
  12. Rear Tires are Tamiya FAMO Halftrack... Fit the scale. Nice detail. Unusual tread.
  13. This one:
  14. And the last bunch.
  15. Few more to go.
  16. Good evening! I showed you some pics of this one a while ago, but since then it got a major overhaul. Still fond of the stance, I couldn't stand the paintjob, so I washed off all the saltcrust that was supposed to imitate a dry lakes car, and painted it with what I can. Rust. It is still a 32 Coupe that was built out of the horrible Millners coupe kit, with parts out of the 29 Pickup from Revell, a Pontiac mill, scratch carbs, channeled, lowered alot, scratch interior, scratch headers and intake, wired and so on... Hope you enjoy. See you next time. Thanks.
  17. Great stuff! I have a suggestion. Long time ago, when I was still building military stuff, I made a diorama including an abandoned VW Bug that was pierced with bullet holes. As you can see in the pic, there are dents where the bullets went in, to achieve that, just dremel them in with a round head (I have no idea how it is called in english, you know, all those fittings you have for a dremel, there are all kinds of things, one of them being a round ball on top of a stick) over the bullet holes. Make some of them just slight, others a bit deeper. Then paint the body in any metal color yo desire, let it dry, use maskol (you know, that pink stuff you buy in a hobby store, or latex) and just tap very small amount over the holes so that it sticks to the edge of the hole. I used a toothpick that I dipped in maskol, and just pressed it in each hole, when you take it out again, a small amount of it will stay on the edge, repeat when neccesary. After that paint the body. If you scrap the maskol off with a scalpel by pulling the mask, it will tear the edges, and the result is a genuine bullet hole that is as realistic as it can be!
  18. I am speechles. Just found it, and being a sucker for all bubble top, I can't help but droll all over the place. Absolutley smashin'. Love the real car, love the model!
  19. The drivechains are sick, especially the fact that he also built the connecting tubes out of paper, but not half as mental as the spokes, that are made of many individual sheets of paper and sanded to perfection... Truly sick.
  20. http://www.kartonwork.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6302&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 I am speechles. Don't let the word "paper" fool you, what this guy does with that medium is incredible. And except for axles that are made out of wire, he doesn't use anything else than paper... Yes it is in polsh, but pictures always say more than 1000 words. So long.
  21. Absolutley smashin'. You sir did everything right.
  22. Very cool. I dig the engine alot!
  23. I can imagine that this is just a mockup thing, but please leave off the one hubcap, gives it alot of life and spirit.
