( Maybe a Alclad chrome finish? ) and...the big question.. A Flat finish coat...or Gloss.? Im really stuck as I like both looks.! Any help appreciated. ooh.. and yes...Ive seen the front door pillar is cracked..BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH photos show up everything!! lol..i'll glue and refinish the pillar.

Fantastic weathering on the engine... you've got the decades of "sludge' colours just right.. very cool! :-)

Hi Pete, thanks for the kind words, ..yeah my next one ( already in the planning stage) will definitely be a frame dragger..

Been away on business so its been slow progress lately. I did however get some paint on before I left, so its time for some initial assembly. cheers Ian

Awesome build mate..I remember the original 'Tank" from the original Baypark days!! Thanks for the memories :-) Ian

I'm really enjoying this build..the vehicle style suits my tastes...so I see a few more in my future build list! :-) As per LDO's suggestion Ive swapped in the 28 / 29 cowl from my parts box. I raised the rear frame Zed as I felt the car wasn't low enough. That introduced a deeper body channel and floor construction. Two steps froward..one back! :-) Then scratched the rear spring and axle mount. Ian

Hi John, I'm just sitting back in awe.. beautiful work mate. ! Quick question..(may have been answered before but i couldn't find it)...What are you using to hold it all together during the mockup stage?. Tape?, white glue?, contact adhesive.? cheers Ian
-
Thanks sk8erdave, the hairpins are from my parts box..sorry , no idea what kit they're from. :-(

Thanks for the nice comments guys.. Hey LDO I hadn't thought of that..but great idea. I have that kit in my stash. I'll swap cowls .. cheers Ian

Finished the Gasser .. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69549&hl= so now onto the Tudor. Ive 'Suicided" the front end. and decided to use the Revell Parts Pack 354 Cadillac engine. Since the motors going to be out for all to see, I thought I'd try a bit of detailing. I decided to drill out the carbs and add butterflies. cheers Ian

wow..that engine is gorgeous!! -
My attempt at a Gasser. I usually like having pics of original vehicles to help but could'nt find any of a 50 Chev Pickup Gasser. Using the Badman kit for suspension and the 3100 Chev pickup kit for everything else. A parts bin SS 427 Blown and Injected. ( Different engine from the one shown in the pics.)

As a time filler whilst glue dries on the Gasser, Im going to build this concurrently. Initial mock up after I chopped the body Ian

this ones been kicking my a$$ for awhile now...two steps forward.one step back.....but got to primer now. A gluebomb I picked up in a junkyard lot then 'sliced and diced'
