did this with decal paper i sprayed candy orange over clear decal sheet then layed the decal behind the glass

its easier to apply the glue to the foil then work from there also cheap dollar store foil is easier to work with

brush it on then let it dry then use, i noticed first hand that it has a strong bond but if you dry brush it just right it has the same adhesion as bmf but you have to have a super fresh number 11 to get clean cuts. it burnishes well and has a little flex

thanks i did a 58 impala diecast with the same method heres the rest of the cadillac

took a good 4 hours but it came out decent the tinfoil cost about 70 cents and its about as thick and flexible as bmf

this was a toy so next to a 1/24 this car is 3 scales smaller give or take. only caprices i know about is the modelhaus 80s box impala/caprice and the 2 door coupe made by Twinn on layitlow

off a revell 32 street rod its a old kit molded in yellow

made from a old ertl toy the plastic proved to be a challenge to paint but i conquered it the look is something i used to see in my neighborhood none of these cars exist anymore because the gangbangers that drove them loved having demolition derbies with them

i learned not to strip them to bare metal i sand them down with 600 to level it out then lay the paint on them

the body is a resin conversion from jimmy flintstone the wheels are from the bin with the tires painted to simulate the new generation vogue tire this is pretty much it its a slammer so i doesnt have brake or headlight detail next is a diecast 74 gremlin we owned one when i was 6 ours had seen better days but after the diecast was released i decided to build what ours wouldve looked like new. shaved the roof rack and rear window visor

the lining was done by hand then candy coated with orange

got this done took a while cause most of the interior went missing it was supposed to be a paint mule but one day it got out of hand and decided to carry on with it im happy with the result the whole paint job was done by hand then topped off with candy orange

i kept trying that and it bled under every time and the lines were limited to what the pen is available in

i upped the ante a little today,Vogues

i started using my heat gun to get them open and it saves the lid from being wrecked

i use this mainly on window trim or long trim but this stuff is good but it dulls 11s like crazy

got this today at a toy show and went to work on it right away i plan on making this a week build
