yeah i was trying to avoid that 16 hours was too long as it was the stuff im actually using is Smooth On/smooth cast 45D demolds in about 2 hours and is very paintable even though im using dye. i got run of the mill molds ill post a pic manana

i used smooth cast 42D

went through a lot of trouble trying to cast them(stupid 16 hour dying time resin my ) but finally got them complete can you believe i spent 4 years tracking a kit with those tires

pretty basic as far as it goes it s a tamiya silhouette celica with aoshima wheels going for the wild japanese look

i was gonna use a pressure pot to take care of the bubbles i was thinking of casting the tire backwards so i retain the detail on one side of the tire since theyre tapered to the inside

anyone give me any pointers on how its done

pretty much box stock with the wheels out of the parts bin. the color is HOK orion silver

is it true you can make a filler this way? whats the other stuff called it comes ina orange and black tub and a ball park price please. thanks

whats a good flowing rubber this oomoo30 stuff is too thick and not really all that great. im willing to give the 10:1 stuff a try but i need something with a more creamier consistency so that it gets all the details.

i wanna cast this wheel exactly as it is the pinhole doesnt matter but the face and backside do the lip was already molded with a single sided mold. this wheel will be my second double sided mold but ive never casted a wheel before. can a tire be done off a single side mold?

boredom struck when this happened i still got a lot of work to do but i plan on finishing it this year

i mustve built this car ages ago but its a alpina beamer with fujimi wheels he original paint was silver graphite. the new paint job is tamiya clear over the original color i also added detail to the tailights and wheels(after photo) it was a basic rebuild.if youre wondering where the mirrors went back then i owned way more cars than i do now and mirrors took up too much shelf space so i never added them and eventually lost them. before after

old aoshima kit, i molded the body kit and added strech wall wheels i just butchered a set of pegasus wheels to get the extra lip out of them

looks better now than it did 5 years ago

what PSI do you recomend and what psi do you recomend for future
