Thanks guys for the nice response, Ok did some work on the front axel. I first wanted to make the axel from styreen rod, but than i found an old axel in my sparebox (safe's me some work ). Well here it is , this is a dryfit just to look if the size is right. Than i had to make the brackets (i think you call them brackets) i made them from 0,5 mm styreen. Was tough to get them the same. Here i fit them to the axel, i put a small piece of styreen (see the black arrow) between it to keep the distance for the rod ends. Fit the rod ends, i put some bolts and nuts i like to put a detail to this rod so it will look right. Place the rod's. All this parts are metal or aluminum. Also place the front brake's (the arrow shows the place where the brake caliper will be fit)still have to masure where it will be placed, so i kept the plate long. Here a little dryfit (i can't fit it jet waiting for some parts) . From top also did some work on the interior. And here are the customers to look how the work is done ;) :). See you guys next time. Hello, Thanks for the great response, did do some work on the rod this week. First did the sprkplug cabels. The distributor is made from aluminum. I wanted the cabels to have real boots i,t did worked but is a hell of a job so small (wonder how they make it ). And the result only put some wire looms but thats for later. The Suspension. I want to make the rod as realistic as possible so i ordered real Coil Over Shocks and use the hub from a Corvette. This is the original suspension. This are the parts for the coil over. And the finished product (and it works ). I made the suspension connection from steel rod. ( see the yellow arrows). This are the parts i made and did a dryfit to see if it al fit. And here with the brake disk, now only make the lower control arm (yellow arrow) and some small parts then take it apart and finish the other side and make the front suspension. see you Gr Dirk

hi guys, dind't had much time to work on the rod but i made one piece of the frame. This is how the frame is now. i have to make two of them so start building this week full speed Also did some work on the engine and blower. Now i have some real blowerbelts so i want to have some ribbed pulley's Hard to find on this scale so build it myself. first did it from styreen rod like this. Well i did not like it the ribs are to big so think think think ??? : ;D Then my eye saw this. A screwdriver. This drivers have ribbed grip, so i cut a piece off and with a mill i made a hole in the middle. And this is how it looks on the blower. And on the engine. I think it looks ok. Happy modeling Gr Dirk

And starting off with the body (or should i say face ) Used some soup spoons to make it a ball figure. Now lets work on the tube frame. First i made a plan so i no what i'm doing. The red is the tire. Working on the tubeframe put it on the drawing see off it fit. I also made the intake (i think : ) first draw it on a piece of paper. Then copied it on a piece of styreen. And he presto. I put the parts to see if the scale was right and if it will fit when the time is there. Ok guy's and girls, See you next time. Gr Dirk

Update, Took the resin engine cut off the transmission and cleaned it. Then put it together . The result. Also made the blower smaller i think the original is a 6-71 and i think this six has a 4-71, well this is the result. Made all the holes in the engine and dryfit the distributer and the pulleys. All fit nice now it's time to put some color on this little 6. Happy building Gr Dirk

This is the mold i made from silicone rubber. Well this is what you get a nice copy (white) of the original (black). Even the ribs on the valvecover did work great stuff resin. See you next time.
