  2. Hi Everyone I'm about to start the Revell Porsche 918. Just after the doors, before the rear deck lid the body widens. On the 1:1 car is this area open or is there a screen??? I look at pics online and its just a black area. If you acn help thanks.... Mike

  7. Hi everyone. In late July yall helped me with stripping the paint from my diecast. With that now done I was wondering if there is a way to deepen the panel lines? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Thanks for all the advice. I'm glad you told me about the reaction to Purple Power!!! Its what I have on hand and had every intention to use. Strange question. Can I buy paint stripper at Oreilys or Pep Boys? Or do I need to find an auto paint supply store? Thanks again.
  9. Hi Everyone. I bought my first diecast yesterday and I want to paint it a different color. Can the paint be stripped with Purple Power degreaser or pine sol? Will Plasti coat primer work? Then repaint as usual? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

  15. I'm looking to buy an AMT 55 Chevy on an auction site. I've seen two versions stock and street macine. Can anyone tell me if the street machine version aslo has the stock parts in it? Kinda like a 2 in 1?
  16. WOW sorry to hear about your hand! Its been awhile since I've checked this post. I've found an excellent reference source. Check out www.eurospares.co.uk. It has a lot of exploded views, similar to a shop manual of the LaFerrari along with many others. I still haven't been able to figure out were the ignition wires and the tiny ones on the front on the valve covers route to tough. Godspeed on the healing of your hand!
  17. WOW That looks Awesome!!! You have inspired me to try to add some wires to my LaFerrari. I was wondering were the other end of the ignition wires go? I know there is no distributor or ignition box in the kit. I can't find any pics on the web to answer this question eighter. Does an ignition box need to be scratch built and were would it go? Please post more pics as you build. Thanks Mike.
