But thats when I had my 61 Belair 409 and he liked it! Like motorcycles at all? Check out the Wheels through time museum in Maggie Valley N.C. its a really grat place ................if ya like bikes. Drew C. from S.C.

  11. Very good! What products did you use? Thanks for sharing. Drew C. from S.C.
  12. I like the twist tie idea. Got a guitar or music store nearby? Ask them for some old little E music wire. This works well too with a small hole drilled into the case where you want it to go through. You could slip the wire over the axle or frame to hold it down for you. Drew C. from S.C.
  13. OOOPS my bad. Should have told more. My old line is from my real car painting days. It has 2 inline water seperators (dessacant as well as the toilet paper style) as well as built inline regulator. Im thinking of using seperate plug in style gauges (better pressure range for application)with fittings attached. Sort of like a plug and play deal. Sorry for not being very clear. Drew C.
  14. One of my favorite CD box sets is Hot Rods or something like that. It is 5 CDs and about 100 songs from the 1950s era to mid 1990s. Im pretty sure it is out of print. Real motorvator for anything with wheels! Cant wait to dig it out as soon as I find it from my recent move! LOL! Drew C. from S.C.
  15. Hello all, Happy Labor Day weekend! Im working on paper a drawing for my airline layout for my new hobbyshop. It will be 1/2" steel pipe(we sell it at work) have a nice large compressor(60 gallon)that will run my airbrush. Curious as to the range of air pressure to use all types of paints, nail polish, alcad, spazstix, etc. 0-60 migh cover it? Thinking of making up 3 different gauges to interchange on a quick release style fitting sort of like an airchuck. It would be a T fitting with the gauge instaled as well as the fitting to snap into my airline onone end ant the snap fitting to hook my airbrus up. This way I could use say 0-10, 0-30,0-60 PSI in a flash with my inline regulator and stil be able to use my compressor at the full 100PSI for big tools. Thanks for taking the time to read this and reply! Drew C. from S.C.
  16. Ok I feel dumb now. Can seem to find them? Drew

  19. Ok got a question. Where do you find the clearance kits at in your store? We have 2 Hobby Lobby stores ( 1 I stop in about once a week as its on the way home from work) that have a clearance area in the back corner of the store. I dont find kits often. Have checked in the model aisle as well and never find clearance kits. Maybe they ship them back for credit? Anyway im curious where you find your deals in your store at. Drew C. from S.C.
  20. Hey I got an idea. How about cloth table placemats? Ive seen somehting like this at World Market as well a Kohls. Might be an idea too? Drew C. from S.C.
  21. Hello all, got a Monogram 1/12th scale 1967 Corvette today and was thinking might be cool to do a conversion to a 1963 split window. Anyone done this before? Know of any places to buy parts for this? This is my first BIG scale model in years. Thanks for your input. Drew C. from S.C.
  22. Flea Market finds this weekend. 1930s rollfast bicycle crank (for ebay to buy more kits), BIG box of vintage VW magazines and diecast VW stuff. (helps when you offer to buy all the VW stuff and pay their asking price, now they look for me the Bugman!) a 1970 AMT Chevelle and Deora reissue kit. Cant wiat tille next weekend! Drew C from S.C.
  23. Well now this might be fun to try! It has been a couple of years since my last candy paint job. Well that was a motorcycle so now just gotta think small! Should not be a problem at all. Making an order soon. Might just try the 10 pack deal. Thanks for your reply! Drew C. from S.C.
