  1. I like this idea, especially the shortened bed and full fenders. Lookin' 4ward 2 c finished project.
  2. I was raised on a large dairy farm in Southern Indiana. ( Yes, near the tornado area of 3/2) When I 1st got onthe internet I came up with this for my ISP username. I have stuck withthis as I think it describes me in some ways. Never stayed in farming but readily claim the background. My avatartr was selected to go with the username. It's a small diecast Forn N series I bought @ at Farm Supply store. The mini-disc was from my Mom's mementos. I began modeling as a young teen while still on the farm. Built and rebuilt a Revell '56 Ford several times. Also have some original F&F Mold ceral box cars from my childhood. One or two 'customozed' . Enjoy seeing the various usernames and avatars. It's sort of like our tastes in modeling.
  3. Been enjoying you snakefest. I have several sizes of diecast Cobras and a large plastic kit to work on. Be careful handling snakes! lol:D)))

  5. Steve - checked my 68 Revell Street Machine and the rear lenses are 'paint-in" on the chrome rear bumper. Hope this helps.
  6. Worked @ a Chevy dealer in late 70's. Guy brought one of the V-8 units in with a miisfire problem. I coldn't tell it had one! Turns out plug wire problem. Beastly ride!

  8. I'm a longroof fan. Neat idea. My current project is a 65 Chevelle 300 wagon (Flintstone body). Will be powered my a much modified straight 6. May use this your in the future.
  9. This is one fantastic project. The 1:1 vehicle is outasite ! Enjoyed the build fotos - saved them all. Sometime ago I bought a "Hotwheels" style model of a 60 Rambler wagon. It has white on bronze paint and little Crager style wheels. However there is no name on the chassis plate. Would be a neat conversion the the Ferrambo.
  10. I built my own. The pix are of the prototype. I cast the frame piece and am using it in a '65 Mustang project(yet to be completed). Hope the pix come thru ok.
  11. Wonderful workmanship. Those photos are very clear. Keep Buildin'.
  12. Neat build there. I have done some 1/43rd units. Won a 2nd Place @ Dery City Shootout recently. My model(s) were a Peterbilt rollback with a 32 Roadster pickup as its load. You have inspired me to do some mod work on a door slammer sometime.
  13. Thanks for posting this topic. I learned how to correct the sunken roof on my Flintstone 65 Chevelle 2 door wagon.
  14. I am greatly impressed with this build. The wheels and tires are a perfect choice. Enjoyed the Fotki build up shots. The little red wagon was quite inspirational and original. Keep up the good work.

  16. I'm a Mustang fanatic so this is really neato (giving away my age with that adjective). I think I might start looking for tiny Mustangs to modify/update/etc. Good job.Keep it up
  17. Neat and informative tutorial. Have not built anyy funny cars yet, but who knows. Therefore I saved this tutorial.
  18. good question and good answers. the wiki article section on difference was enlightening. although geared to artistic painting it still gave a good explanation.
  19. I used Book Antiqua font purposely. In 62 I was a junior in high school. Had built the Monogram 56 Ford convertible as I recall. Was sharpening my driving skills on the farm hauling hay from the field on our 51 Ford COE. Fall was my senior year in high school. Lived in midwest so didn't make it to Seattle. Do remember the 'Kat - Bud Anderson ' in ads and mags. Soooo long ago!
  20. I like this build. It caught my attention quickly as the images opened. The style, color combo and workmansip are tremendous. Best of success in the contest. Do you know Tom Dill from Dayton?I see him @ various shows here in Indiana & Kentucky. He has fabulous cars. I particularily like the 57 Canadian Ranchero. Again, best of success.
  21. Thanks for the info.Been thinking about building one. I liked the 'hotrod' for todays youngsters comment. My fav pic is the blue wagon by Wheelman. Enjoyed the puns and tongue-in cheek definitions too. Again - muchos gracious amigos.
  22. I too liked the combo Miata and the tri-pony cars unit. Formerly lived in the Hall county area of Georgia in the late 80s and early 90s. Was probably in Tucker some as I was a copier field tech. Enjoyed the area greatly. So greeting from Hoosierland. Hope to revisit area someday.
