  3. Thanks for the updated comments. Dave one of the rim spacers came loose and I seem to always find these little things after I get the pictures posted. I've fixed it since then. Thanks for the info.
  4. It defiantly fit the time period back then all the race teams were using the crew cabs. Very nice custom build.

Vince I know what you mean so far I've had good luck I've only had one resin body that was miss formed but I was on the hood that I was planing to open up and was able to order just the hood so it worked out ok. Some of the resin body's get pretty thick and have to be thinned. Thanks for the complement's I have spent a lot of hours searching and looking at the old dragsters pictures to pick up the details. Also the comment here on the post.
  7. Just about done with the trailer still need to put the trailer lights on the back and continue to work on the dragster going to paint the body tonight for it (white) here's the trailer hooked up.
  8. John nice progress I really like the level of detail your going to with this and thanks for sharing the fiberglass technique for reinforcements. I going to have to pick up some as I can see how this will work on some of my upcoming projects.
  9. Yea the valley pan and also the coil are missing in the engine package. Currently working on a fix for it.
  10. Started on the engine today and modified the engine bay. As always your comments are always welcome.

  16. John To help from losing any of the small parts I down the drain I use a zip lock baggy with Westlys bleach and the parts I also use the bag to rinse off the Westleys bleach. Yea I learned the hard way keep up the the super detailing on your build.

  19. I'm going with MOPAR turquoise for the engine and I've now have actual MOPAR turquoise engine paint I picked up from my Dodge dealer 12oz spray can for $11.
  20. John glad to see you did not waste any time getting back on another Cuda build. Yea I know what you mean about all the pieces with the Ross Gibson engine I've got a 383 I'm getting ready to start.
  21. Lee I will have more progress pictures this weekend. Working 4/10's not much time to work on it durn the week but I make up the time on the weekends.
  22. This is a resin body I picked up a couple years ago from Star. I'm going with bright blue with a white and black interior. Also going with a Gibson 383 engine. Started cleaning up the body panels and some primer.
  23. My weekend progress I was able to modify the back part of the trailer add some paint. I also started on the engine.
