  1. This is a Trumpeter 63 Chevy Nova SS. The engine has been replaced with a 383 stroker with headers and a custom exhaust. Wheels and tires have been changed out as well. I air brushed with Tamiya TS-55 dark blue and 3 coats of Model Masters ultra gloss clear coat and lots of sanding and polishing. I also ran the fuel line and heater hoses, battery cables and spark plug wires. Your comments are always welcomed and appreciated.
  2. Thanks for the comments I've posted the finished pictures in underglass.

  9. Paul nice combo
  10. Lee, I used the 67 Camaro for my rear end and wheels. I used the Nova's tires in the front and also used the brake drum. The Nova tires fit perfict on the Camaro rims.

  14. I started this project this past Jan. this is for my brother in-law to match his 1:1 that is also a WIP. I've started with the Trumpeter 63 Chevy Nova SS. The engine has been replaced with a 383 stroker with headers and a custom exhaust. I have to wait until I have the body installed to put the tail pipes in for finial alignment. Wheels and tires have been changed out as well. I picked up the PE kit for it as well and have started installing it on the interior and the truck so far. I air brushed with Tamiya TS-55 dark blue and 3 coats of Model Masters ultra gloss clear coat and lots of sanding and polishing. I also ran the fuel line and heater hoses and spark plug wires. Will add the battery cables next. My goal is have it finished by August. I still have some touch up to do on the BMF. I have been checking in with my brother in-law to get the details as I'm in Texas and he's in Cal. This is the first model that has taken me more that 2 months to finish alive been taking my time with this one and redoing things to get them just right. Please provide feed back on my progress so far as I'm wanting to make this a show peace for my brother in-law. Here is my progress shots.
  15. Eric, I started the same kit in Jan and also changed out the motor. Yours off to a good start looking to see more. Mine his going together good but with a bigger motor things get pretty tight.
  16. This is the Modelhaus newly released 65 Dodge CSS/HPP pickup truck. It is a very nice kit to work with I sprayed it Arctic Blue from Paint Scratch with Model Master gloss clear. The kit does not come with a engine so I added a 426 Max Wedge that was offered by Dodge in 65. I've added wiring and plumbing and still have to add the master brake cylinder. I also made up the side rear view mirrors. The only other thing that I changed out from the kit were the big metal axels for a better fit up. Enjoy and your comments always welcome.
  17. I'm finishing a Gibson 440 engine now it fits together very good there is a little flash to remove and check the fit there may be some sanding required to get the right fit. I used Dupi - color from Autozone. Look forward to see your progress.
  18. Excellent job on a great subject.
  19. Hers mine with the slant 6 in place. It fits nice with lots of room.
  20. Chuck. Dave at AITM has this Dodge that can be built as a CNT 700. I've built 2 of them so far one with a gas motor like this one and a diesel one.
  21. It's a new resin kit released from Modelhaus.com comes with everything but the engine. Very high quality detail.
