Wondering if anybody has any idea where I may find a set of Slixx Gordie Bonin Bubble Up Monza funny car decals. They have been out of print for awhile so I thought maybe someone knew some sources for older funny car decals.

Bob, I have a question on the clear as well, can the clear (#1814) be sprayed over Tamiya paints as well? I like the Tamiya spray but not fond of their clear, I find it harsh on decals.

Can anyone tell me if the Revell 55 Chevy Pro Sportsman is built on a scale 115" wheelbase? I want to use it as a donor kit but not sure what body I can use with it, ideally I would like to build a 67-69 Camaro but not sure how the wheelbase will work out.

Does anyone have some detail photos or info they can share with me on wiring the braking stsyem on 70's funny cars? I am building a Jungle Jim Monza and specifically I am looking for how you plumb it from the lever on the right hand side to the calipers. Thank you

Thank you..toothpaste was the one I had read about somewhere before. I tied that last night and the windshield is perfect.

I remember reading on a board sometime ago a method for refreshing and old plastic windshield. I am rebuilding an older model and would like to freshen up the windshield after I lay the new paint job.

Is it necessary to remove all of the old paint before priming. I have been trying to strip a body using Power Clean and some other methods and it has removed some of the paint but not all. Can I sand the body smooth then just use Tamiya primer and spray over the paint that remains? I usually start with Tamiya grey primer sand then finish up with Tamiya white primer.

I have tried Super Clean with no luck, I am not sure what type of paint is on the body but the Super Clean barely moved it. Does the oven cleaner do any damage to the paint? especially if i have tried Super Clean and alchohol with no luck. I want to make sure using a 3rd product doesnt hurt the body

I would like to know if anyone has made a tutorial or has some detail photos on opening and hinging doors on prostock cars. I am also looking for similar information on how to model the removable front end (fenders and grill assemble) on these cars as well. I have seen some photos but I don't know if you have to scratch build the inner door panels and cannot figure out how to hang the front assembly for display.

How long does it take to strip a body? Do you just let it soak or do you have to work on the body to remove the paint? -
Does anyone know of a US or Canadian supplier/distributor for Pattos Place decals?

Now that I have stripped the chrome there is a dull yellow coating left on the parts. Does this coating have to be removed as well before painting?
-
Of all the products mentioned which ones work best for stripping the paint off of a body?

I soaked some parts for a couple nights in "Simple Green Concentrated Cleaner" and it worked great

Once I got back into modeling I decided that one project I wanted to undertake was a Datsun Z car drag car. Does anyone know what might be a good doner kit for the chassis? I will be using the Revell Datsun 240Z kit for the body. I believe that the Revell Pro Sportsman kits chassis would be too big so I was think perhaps the AMT Twister Vega kit or maybe the AMT Fire? Mustang. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions? Thank you
