The decals came with the kit . The wheels and tire i had in a parts box. .Sixties Sam I have the hood and put it on with out the sides but it really looks better with out it .
I just found this thread . Man am I amazed you do awesome work . I to am a hot rod nut or as my freinds say gearhead .Scale model was just awesome can't wait to see the 1:1 when finished.

Thank you very much for the compliment. Yes, I did get the big bottles separatly because I couldn't find them in a set. But, on the bright side, I have more product to do other projects.
Thank you. I primed the car with Brown primer first. Then I brushed on "Sophisticated Finishes Iron Metalic Surfacer". I allowed that to dry for 24 hours, then I used "Sophisticated Finishes Rust Antiquing Solution". I placed it in a ziplock bag and left it for 12 hours while it cured. Then I allowed it to air dry. Then I repeated the rust process in various spots until I acheived the look I wanted.
